I tried some colored endzones for this (mostly because I don't have the time right now to do the outline of NEW ORLEANS). I think the black looks pretty good, but the New Orleans endzone looks a little cramped to me due ti the width of the wordmark, but not too bad.

Those look great! Would you mind emailing the full sizes to me (please)? I never realized you posted this. The website doesn’t email me about replies. Once again, those look great. I mean GREAT!

I think this font gets it closest. For just the "NEW ORLEANS" part this works pretty well. Just the "L" needs adjustment. The "T" is just nowhere close.

Interestingly enough, there is this Saints wordmark with a dotted i.

Not sure when I'll have the time to get around to it. May be a little while with how busy things have been lately.

Interesting. I don't really like the dotted i. No hurry. I can wait.

  3. Hey pitt6, could you do an alternate Saints endzone for? Where it says “New Orleans” in the same font? I don’t need (I don’t really “need” any of it) the whole field, but just the endzone. I was looking on Google, they got some pretty good ones, but the N’s and I’s are way off. Could you do this for me? Please, take your time if you need to. I don’t need it immediately. Here’s a sample, but the L is too high and the I and T are way off. And you could probably make a better E, too. https://goo.gl/images/Y1aTBK

I always thought the Jets end zone in Super Bowl XVII if they had made it would be white background.  Same with the Rams currently in this format.  White background, blue helmet and word mark.  I don't think there was ever a declaration that white would not be allowed in the end zone as background color and given that it was always the opposite team color from the helmet, the Jets being just green and white would have been white in the end zone.

They couldn’t make a white endzone, unless they changed the color of the out-of-bounds line. Or else you would never know if (for example) a player got two feet in bounds on a fade. Or, any pass, for that matter.

Sure thing! I'll get a couple of potential matchups done here at some point. I'm just not sure when I'll be with my laptop next (both teams may be eliminated by then haha).

It'll be refreshing this year that there are only 3 teams with a blue or dark blue endzone (because we get those all the time in the Super Bowl), the Bills, Rams, and of course the Patriots. Theres the potential for some really good endzone matchups. I think the Vikings purple would go well with almost any AFC team. Least best with the Patriots navy, and really well with the Chiefs red I think. Of course as a biased Steelers fan, I'd love to see a gold and purple endzone matchup. The Saints gold was unique in Super Bowl XLIV. I think the Falcons red, whatever color the Jags go with (I'd hope teal, but would expect black from the NFL), and Eagles green (matched up against a lighter AFC endzone) would be good to see. Even the darker endzones will look good if they are pared with a brighter color. The red and navy from last years Super Bowl was a much better look then the black and navy from Super Bowl 50.

I'll get the team endzones together, and from there it's just a copy and paste to start getting some field combos together.

Hey! How dare you say the Saints will be eliminated?? Lol. Jk. I guarantee the Saints will beat the Panthers for the third time. The Panthers have only sacked Drew Brees 3 times in 2 games, and they average 3 sack sper game. And the Saints are the only team with 120+ rushing yards against the Panthers.
