The Rams are going a slightly lighter blue from what I can tell. I don't have the exact nike colour atm, but to me it looks lighter to the naked eye.

What else did he say? I forget. (Apart from the being a jack@ss about everything.)

See above. Now the only question is lighter than royal or lighter than navy.

  2. Updating my prediction for the Rams: still think it’s going to be very modern.

    New colors:

Ocean (or Pacific) Blue - An entirely new shade of blue close to what the Seahawks used to wear. Not royal, not navy, something in between and unique.

Sunshine yellow - the exact same shade of yellow the Lakers currently use.

Royal Blue - Couldn’t think of a proper name but the old royal blue, but it’s relegated to tertiary status.

Yeah, and Santa Claus is changing to Purple & Orange next year.

All of these are complete guesses and this  should be emphasized in your post.    You provide no evidence other than “stalking”.  This is silly.

And coming from the same guy who promised a complete Chiefs rebrand.

Also, there’s no way the Colts would move their TV numbers from the sleeves to the shoulders...there’s simply not room.  Carolina’s stripe is different.

Lastly, for the other poster who said it, Athletic Gold is Steelers/Packers/Chiefs gold, typically 1235 C or sometimes 123 C (Lakers).  However, it is not “Yellow”.

No need for the hostility dude, especially on something as mundane as yellow vs gold.

the reason I call them semi educated guesses is because Canzman gave his thoughts on which jerseys he liked and which he disliked. From there, it wasn’t hard to go through his post history with all the time I’ve got on my hands being sick right now and get a general sense of the types of uniforms he likes and dislikes. Combine that with a few statements people in the various organizations have said throughout the years, and voila, semi educated guesses.

  4. Home and sick as a dog today so did a little stalking for clues to the 7 changes in the NFL, and here are my semi educated guesses as to what each is:

Falcons: going modern and flashy, silver/chrome will play a big part in the new scheme. Black primary jerseys and helmets. They’ll drive us crazy because they’ll call them throwbacks with a twist and most fans will call them throwbacks as well. They won’t be.

Browns: Extremely boring, I’m even anticipating that stripes may be gone. Orange numbers kept on aways, Giants like cleanliness on the homes, orange alternate, brown pants stay in the rotation.

Bucs: Red and orange become the new main colors with pewter becoming an outline only. Simple uniforms but the red and orange color scheme will make them a big hit. White helmets and creamsicle throwback alts.

Rams: Going flashy and modern/ugly. Navy and old gold color scheme, and I still think we are in for some sort of surprise third color outline a la the Nuggets new uniforms. These will by far be the most hated and compared to the Bucs previous set.

Patriots: Going red, cleaned up version of their current primaries with piping issues fixed. Helmet remains completely unchanged.

Chargers: Complete and total overhaul, maybe even a change in primary colors. I honestly think the only thing that doesn’t change is the name.

Colts: TV numbers move to the top of the shoulders instead of the sleeves a la Carolina this year.

@canzman  blink twice if I’m close.

29, but I don’t have the personality of a wet napkin. You should try it some time.

I honestly think there's zero shot the Patriots get a new logo or even switch to red primaries.

SIX Super bowls in these uniforms and logo. SIX.

You guys can yell and scream about who cares about that, blah blah blah.

This is a brand. A very valuable brand. Think about it from a business standpoint. Do you think a Fortune 500 company just gets up and overhauls their logo in the prime of their success? Sure some slight adjustments and tweaks, but not huge changes.

Normally I would agree but Patriots fans have shown they love the red. Also I think it’s worth noting they probably thought Brady would be retired by now.

The Patriots news is what I'm most skeptical of.  Given the lead time needed to get major changes made (2 years, right?), that would mean that they started this process back in 2018 (right around the time they lost the Super Bowl to the eventual Super Bowl LII Champion Philadelphia Eagles).  I totally see them moving on from this look once the 'next era' of Patriots football starts (basically the post-Brady era), but to start the process while still in the middle of their second dynasty seems a little odd... unless Brady's contract situation factored into it and they figured 2020 would be year one After Tom.  I can't imagine that's the case though.

All of the other mentions have been either confirmed by the teams themselves, are too minor for anyone to care about (like the alleged Colts change), or make sense even if not announced (Chargers).  The Patriots doesn't fit any of those cateories.

Along those lines... are we officially putting the Chiefs rumors to bed?  Two posters claim that the Chiefs were making changes (I think one even claimed they were of the total-overhaul variety), but they're now gone, and nothing credible has come up about it.

    Broncos did it with Elway.

For the Chiefs one of those posters was me, and I will clarify what I heard. From a friend who doesn’t bs and doesn’t even follow football he told me he’d worked on a phot set for a promo for Nike with Chiefs players and a new uniform. Maybe it’s a new alternate. Maybe it’s a change coming next year. Maybe it’s a completely unrelated ad campaign that for whatever reason they didn’t use Chiefs uniforms. I don’t know, I only passed on what I was told.

  7. I don’t see any way the helmet changes at all, that helmet has become synonymous with greatness.

I have a feeling they will go back to red primary jerseys though and will switch up the style of the uniform pretty drastically, but the helmet isn’t getting touched, I’d bet on that.

There's no way they get rid of the pewter, right? It doesn't look right without it.

Kind of wish the one helmet rule didn't exist, so we could see some awesome throwbacks.

If I had to guess right now I’d say pewter is going to get relegated to outline duty on numbers and stripes. I feel like it’s a safe bet white helmets are on the way.
