Give me the Eagles in current colors, but with 1980s striping and silver pants only
Pardon the sub-par helmet dit (and quick attempt at more silver than gray pants), but looks pretty nice:

while I like those numbers (they’re not really futura tho, are they?), I never thought of them as a mid-century team. I guess because I grew up in the Moon, Haywood Jeffires, et alNope, not Futura. You can tell by the straight angle on the upper terminal of the 2.

I know there have already been suggestions/mocks for fixes, but if they just stop with the monochrome, this set could be half-decent. They just need to field the right parts together.

I'd make it in silver. The black outline will just get lost on the shell
Good call.

Carolina needs to add an outline to the current logo if they are going to make black the primary helmet. Personally, I hope they don't.
Definitely not my best mockup, but an idea of how that would look.

I thought I was clear, I meant a red and blue team that emphasizes red. The Chiefs do not fit that description.
Ahh, got it. I thought you were just calling out the amount of teams that use navy and red individually, my mistake.

Personally, I love it. Texans should go with this look as their primary set. With all the navy and red in the league, it's a wonder there isn't a red-first team yet. The Texans have the perfect set to go red full-time, works much better than their current navies in my book. The navy look just feels bland and uninteresting, but unoffensive. This feels a lot more vibrant and fun without changing anything but the helmet. Excited to see what this combo looks like on the field.
I don't blame you for forgetting about the Chiefs, but they do exist.

Looks like Josh Jacobs is switching to 8. As someone who owns both a home and away Jacobs jersey, that sucks haha.

Pardon the super quick edit, but as usual, I feel like they were close to doing something decent, but they failed.

Yeah any pants that the Cowboys wear with their white jerseys that aren’t matte silver/gray/whatever you want to call it is just wrong. Just match the pants with the helmet. It’s not hard.
Exactly, such an easy fix and such an improvement.

Yea, the football logo is the current placeholder logo. However, the helmet reflection of the football case looks a lot like that W transition logo someone called out earlier.
EDIT: Maybe grasping at straws seeing it side by side, but could be something:

The new Jets set is better in every way and I’m prepared to die on that hill
We are definitely in the minority, and while I think the previous uniforms were great, I agree think the Jets set is one of Nike's more successful uniforms.

I’ve forgotten are the Cardinals and Bengals getting new threads?
The Bengals have been confirmed. There's a thread but it hasn't been touched in days, since there hasn't been many updates/speculation/leaks.
