Shared Austin/San Antonio “Texas” franchise—Having a team called "Texas" is weird with Houston already in the league.
You have California and San Diego.

":censored: you Kronke,"
":censored: you, Spanos"
I read those in UrinatingTree's voice.

The next thread I'll be doing will be what @BengalErnst requested and I intend to honor that.
An AFL-USFL-XFL-AAF merger, right?

Because I like doing things different now and again... besides Albany was my choice.
Okay. Think you can do a helmet showcase of the final alignment like on your other threads?

And so this thread with this last team will be complete... the first bit of unfinished business done and the last of chasing other trends.
So how do we close this thread out? By visiting one of the major what ifs of football had 9/11 not happened....
ALBANY WARBIRDSThe Albany Warbirds are an identity that literally sells money... the alternate logo is one of the biggest sellers of hat merchandise the league has to offer, with the off silver, the two greens and the supporting black giving it a our current Buffalo Bills vibe... their fanbase are nuts and very supportive when push comes to shove.
Why does no 9/11 give Albany a team?
Also, are the Warbirds publicly owned? Albany's pretty small.

And to think I was once excited for the AFL's return...

I'll be 81 when the season starts, meaning I'll probably get to see Super Bowl CXIX.
