Totally agree. I remember when nike era started and lockervision images started to show up, i was kinda disappointed, but even a classic jersey like the celtics green, with green accessories and socks was sooo good. I remember them, some of them were pretty nice, but nike did it slightly better.

now that we've seen them officially released, on players too, i confirm my opinion, this is not the worst year for the city program. A lot of these jerseys are just nice jersey with no godd concept, to be honest some of the "meaning" make the jersey even worst. I don't remember wich one made me think " what the f am i reading??" On the other hand, the new york new york inspired by frank sinatra, almost make the wordmark of my knicks nice... but damn, they decided to ditch black base uniform just when they came oyut with a Sinatra nod. I am thinking about a black jersey with slightly visible pinstripes, and New York New York on the chest. Instead they prefer a cheap reanimation of the 2000's look.

always wonder why do you care so much about home white and away color. it's not an american thing, considering that in american footbal the home team wear their color jersey. By the way, i know in the Nba has always been like that, but even if they go for achange, why would it be a problem? i mean for me it's even more righteous.

Boston is going to reveal the city jersey soon i think, they posted some details on instagram. I was looking through the comments, many don't like them, especially comparing it to last year's "masterpiece", i swear some comments talks about the Russell tribute as a masterpiece, i was thinking maybe it's unpopular but, am i the only one who think it's not that good the Russell tribute jersey? especially considering it's a tribute to a legend of the game.

totally agree, actually i think nike failed especially on statement jersey, the idea of having a fourth special jersey that moves away from the main brand would not be that bad. We have a few example other then the pistons, totally wrong color, wordmark, and design, because for me the statement should maintain a similar design if not the same. For Example the lakers, beside the terrible purple and black, wich is vomiting upon a classic look, why the heck you have two uniforms with sidestripe on the sorts, and a third with sidestripe on the jersey too? it makes no sense to me, it doesn't look no more like a game jersey, but some kind of New Era practice fan item. other then those teams woith very bad statement? following the same criteria, the warriors one did such a downgrade, especially considering that the yelow one was so good for me.

how much i hate these thin lines on the edge of shoulders and neck trim. Even worst then no trim design at all. wait what buck city ed are you talking about, i can think of the blue one honoring the lake, but i don't see the similarities, beside the blue color, and obviously the lake inspiration.

are you sure? maybe it was signed in june 15 for a certain number of season like 8 season

help me remember the lore series was stopped with the mixtape edition right? before that there was the Baylor's one right? Talking about the colors, yes but no, i mean they used historic colors. especially the mixtape one, it well resemble what an ideal city jersey could be, using a color out from the main brand, took maybe from the past, with one or more current color. i was just doing some research and, still i think it's a nice jersey, but it doesn't really fit the elgin baylor's era colors, blue was effectively the main color over the baby blue.
