  1. Alrighty, here's the Army one since you asked for it and all :-P Hope it works:
  2. The bottom one is the Marine Corps one, yes. Sorry it's taken so long to get back, I've been on leave in Georgia with no computer access *dang the backwoods* As I mentioned, the stripe for the Marine one is supposed to resemble the "blood stripe" that all NCO's in the Marine Corps receive. I didn't really want to add wording because I figured I would let everyone do what they wanted there. Thanks for the comments though, I'll put in the Air Force and Army soon...I might do a Coast Guard one too but with them being Department of Homeland Security now, I don't know.
  3. Well, I figured I'd try my hand at some simple signatures based on branches of the military so here are my first two: Anyone can add or take away to them as they'd like, I left them mostly blank so you can customize them as you want, comments and such are welcome.
  4. Yeah! It was kind of hard to find anything that just looked great on the red background....here's another one that I am working on though I am less proud of it, criticism is always welcome. It's centered on an Irish and World Cup theme although the two go together about as well as cheesecake and barbecue sauce.
  5. These are my first real tries at creating a signature, comments and advice are encouraged and appreciated:
  6. Well, it was mentioned that maybe someone should try some logos from Video Games and here is my first poor attempt. Anyone who has played it should easily see which game it is:
  7. I know you didn't really ask for any logo designs but I wanted to toy around with a couple of your names to see what I could come up with. I hope you don't mind and I don't really expect you to use them, I just find it hard getting inspired much. Anyway, these are the two I like, the Detroit Doom and the Colorado Explorers.
  8. Being of generally Irish descent, I thought Ireland rocked.
  9. Thanks for the tips. When I said copying another image, I meant more of, say finding a generic picture of an apple and dropping all color then refilling it with your chosen color more than taking someone else's logo and coloring it up.
  10. I posted similar to this in the other help section but I'm learning a little more. I'm thinking it might be better to draw using the pen tool in Photoshop CS2 but for some reason, as I am drawing out the vectors for my shape it is filling them in black is there a way to change this or should I find another way to create logos?
  11. I had a very basic but probably stupid question. When you are doing your logos do you sketch it out by hand and then do lineart to fill it in, find an existing image and remove the colors then restore to make it your own or draw it out in your program? Thanks in advance for your help.
