NickNickNick Posted November 16, 2005 Share Posted November 16, 2005 CC,I noticed you used the Poppy as your avatar for Remembrance Day.Here's a factoid: The Royal Canadian Legion "owns" the poppy...it is a copyrighted image, and has been since 1947...and they have been known to sue people for using it inappropriately, especially after Remembrance Day on websites and elsewhere.I'm not ratting you out, because I think that's ridiculous...nobody in their right mind would ever use the poppy disrespectfully, but I figured everyone might like to know.
