Crowe and Australian businessman Peter Holmes a Court reportedly paid $3-million Australian ($2.1-million US) to privatize the club. Approval of the sale received a 75.8% majority vote amongst club members, just above the 75% majority required for approval. A total of 3,942 club members voted in favor of the sale, with 954 against the transaction.The new ownership group officially takes over the operation of the club in about a month.
