brinkeguthrie
This game killed me. How can fans at Coors watch home games? The Giants are up 8-5 going into the bottom of the 9th and I KNEW they'd lose. First guy up--home run. Before I knew it, bases loaded. No lead is safe at Coors. If you're up 12-0 in the 9th, that's not safe enough.from sfgate:Denver -- Manager Felipe Alou had insisted he wanted to ease Armando Benitez back in non-pressure situations, let him dip his toes into the big-league pool. Instead, Alou handed Benitez a lit stick of dynamite and told him to put it in a blender and make sure it doesn't explode. The result was not happy for Benitez or the Giants, who blew a three-run lead in the ninth and lost to Colorado 9-8 Friday night.
