I'm all for "on topic, clean and free from clutter". I also recognize that there are people who cannot (or will not) keep their posts from becoming angrily filled with invective. It's easy for me to say - because I'm neither Chris, nor a moderator - but if some members of our community continuously engage in such invective-filled posting... well, they should be told to leave.

In the meantime, let's just hope that members of the community conduct themselves in a respectful way.
