Yes we would. It's simple - if you keep beating everyone in your way and make it to the title game, you are one of the top two teams in the country that year. With a "one-and-done" system, I am never convinced we get the best two teams in championships. Two teams could play each other ten times with one team winning nine of them. But that odd tenth time gets rolled on the real game day, and you have an upset. However, we are both agreed on a playoff system. If the best two teams can't beat other teams, that's just the way it is. They had their chance to prove it. Rather see two teams that weren't supposed to be there prove they belong. And like McCall said, no matter who the best two teams are, deciding the championship with games is far, far better than a damn computer.
