  1. Unpopular Opinions:

Tom Brady is a good QB, but he's not 'elite'. Brady's success is largely a biproduct of Belichick's system. Brady's not bad, but he had a whole lot less to do with those Super Bowl wins than Mr. Hoodie.

As mentioned in another thread, I don't think Ben Roethlisberger is an 'elite' quarterback. I don't even think he's 'great'. I think he's an above-average QB on a team that had a great defense and had a couple of hot streaks. Same goes for Eli Manning.

Robert Griffin is the most overrated player in the NFL. He's basically a less-talented, but more marketable Mike Vick.

There are exactly three ELITE quarterbacks in the NFL:

    Peyton Manning

    Drew Brees

    Aaron Rodgers

Andrew Luck should win Rookie of the Year.

JJ Watt or Adrian Peterson should win MVP.

Peyton Manning is the greatest QB of all time.

Jim Harbaugh will be a Hall of Fame coach.

    Uniforms, man. Uniforms

  2. I didn't know this was all that unpopular until recently, but those full shoulder patches that Rose Bowl teams wear are beyond ugly.

    is miles worse than this

The shoulder design you see on Woodson isn't a Rose Bowl thing, it was a Michigan thing. We called it the "Big Jonny Special" after our equipment manager.

Thank you that is something I had no idea about! That is a pretty neat thing. Still doesn't look good, but neat reasoning!

  3. IMO, This

    ALL BLUE

    OR

    BLUE w/ white bottoms

    is better than

    Orange

The orange is a good Alternate, but the blue is a stronger primary.

I don't think your opinion is in the minority at all. The Broncos' navy set is a MUCH better uniform than the orange alt (soon to be primary). Not exactly a fan of the helmet/jersey/pants comprising of three different colors, as is the case when Denver wears their orange jersey.

Agreed. maybe if they wore the blue pants with orange that would help, but then the stripe gets screwed up

I really like the Broncos in all blue. I know a lot of people here hate the monochrom look, but I think it looks great on the Broncos.

the Monochrom is my favorite broncos look.

  4. To go with the Brewers talk on the last page, here's an unpopular opinion:

I actually prefer their current scheme to the old blue and athletic gold. And I like their uniforms and logos, generally. They look better now than they ever have in their history, I'd say.

    You're the guy!

Oh, you already knew that I'm that guy. Current scheme = terrific.

Germanic unis > all other Brewers unis.

I'm not saying ur opinion is wrong, but I just disagree. Those German uniforms are the worst they've ever had.

I think the new uniforms are also outstanding. Keep that gold alt for home, blue alt for away, add Milwaukee script to grays, and add recolored versions of the BiG and barrel man logos as patches or alternate hats or something, and thats arguably one of the best modern sets in the league

  5. That popping sound you heard was the collective sound of the "Let Bret Play" demographic imploding.

As a native Wisconsinite... I think that's a beautiful sound.

I give those redneck fanboys two weeks into the regular season before they let go of their "I'm no longer a Packers fan" stance and go back to rockin' their hunter orange ballcaps with the oval G on the front with pride.

also as a native wisconsinite, i agree. once the season starts, everyone in wisconsin will be back with the pack. sure we might give rodgers a hard time, but were still ganna suport him, or whoever will be under center of the packers. but there will be idiots who will start the brett chants, unfortunaltly. the pack did the best thing in the intrest of the future of the pack. its hard to see favre in a different uni, but were ganna have to get used to it.
