As a diehard Leafs fan, I always grew up liking Marleau for some reason. When the rumours came out last year of him coming to the Leafs I almost didn’t want him because it felt wrong for him to leave San Jose. I think in time, if the Leafs are successful in winning (obviously this year or next) it’ll be seen as a Ray Bourque esque not so much “wrong” uniform, but accepted uniform. He’ll always be a Sharks legend.

Has anyone seen the old Canucks logo coloured this way before? This is the first I've ever seen of it. Source

Cool. So was it an image prepared by the league at the time?
Yep, here's a link.

I didn't know Floyd Mayweather played for the Nets............
Y'all asked for it...
I only see 2 big name centers and the Romanian Shawn Bradley.Just 3 big-name centers who somehow found themselves playing a couple games in NJ.
That was my first thought when I saw that picture.... Glad I'm not alone.

Simplistic and poorly designed as it is, it still blows what they actually went with out of the water.
I have to disagree. Though they downgraded the Islanders were atleast bearable for me still. These however not so much.

Paul Coffey wearing not one but TWO different variations of the silver-and-black Kings uni (one with silver numbers/named, the other with black numbers/names for a grand total of 66 games (60 reg. season, 6 playoffs) from February 1992-January 1993
I'm on mobile but him in a Whalers (20 games), Blackhawks (10 games) and Hurricanes is also so wrong!

Try "Players With the Wrong BMI"...
Those are his "I'm going to Checkers" shorts

Restraining order has been filed, how exactly does that work?!

Snaps her fingers and drops mic.

My lord these people....
He's going to sue the Coyotes?

Not sure how to post it via mobile but there is a sideways Flames horse head logo on "logoserver.com" . It appears to be a crest I know it was never featured on a jersey but was it used for anything else?

That's definitely the wrong uniform for Sandstrom, because that's not Tomas Sandstrom.Tomas Sandstrom, better known for his days with the Kings/Rangers
That's Steve Duchesne.
That is what I was just thinking.

That's John Tavares. Not exactly obscure.
Seriously everyone...post names of hockey/soccer/obscure players. The file name "Islanders-Fisherman-Fishsticks-Logo-2015.jpg" tells us nothing.
or ya know one could use the Google
I wouldn't even say that's the issue. If you don't know who John Tavares is to look at then you don't watch enough hockey period to get why it's the wrong jersey to begin with. Behind Crosby, Toews, Kane and Ovechkin he's likely the most marketed forward in the league.

I get it's tough to officiate but and things happen behind the play that are missed. However there is no excuse to miss things directly in front of your line of sight. They shouldn't be rough if they can't correctly judge 10 feet infront.

Nothing sums up the NHL's officiating as of late better than that announcement. The puck was clearly in yet the official was adamant in waving his arms that it was no goal. Only to announce the wrong city had scored. This league really has to look at these guys and start evaluating them, and have some sort of protocol with regards to glaring mistakes.
Two Leafs games in a row the officials have completely missed the first goal going in when all the players knew, the fans knew, the announcing crews knew yet the 4 guys standing on the ice are oblivious. They missed Suter's elbow on Downie (although maybe they meant to miss that), Vatanen (sp) on Booth last night. I just don't get how there is no consequences to the constant screw ups of these officials.

Then what the hell happens to the Scotiabank Tire Palladium? It's not like its old or out of date. And Ottawa doesn't exactly seem like a two arena town.
I think the obvious answer is a cyborg recreation of the original Silver Seven, that's right a 2nd Ottawa team.

So this ticket drive involves no money and thus the purpose is what exactly? Last I checked lots of people talk a big game until it's time to pull out the cash.

Nope. The final year of that logo was the last season pre-San Jose Sharks.Did the Old N logo North Stars ever play the Sharks?
Damn would've been a nice looking game.

Edmonton is doing their best to make up for the lack of bad uniforms in the province now that Calgary finally (mostly, why is it still a third jersey?) fixed theirs.
