  1. Extraordinary kindness is a good way to put it. There are many of us here who love vintage logos and this is a very entertaining thread, but ren is lending his talent toward improving and preserving these old and forgotten graphic representations. Thanks for that.

  2. Ren69, this is outstanding work. I am addicted to this thread. You are the reason why i created an account simply to say great job! keep it going, can't wait to see more.

I have to say that I'm addicted to this thread as well. It's always fun to check out your latest update ren. Your work is stellar.

  3. Do you have the original to reference from also?

I don't have a scan of the 1970s newspaper copy I took it from. My restoration would be the best to work from anyway. Use your own eye to add any shading or details, I think you have the ability to improve it. If you'd prefer to pass on it that's fine, you won't hurt my feelings.

This is a Baytown Robert E. Lee Gander, by the way.

  4. For those of us who love vintage logos, it's a pleasure to come to this thread to see such quality work done to restore them.

ren, here's an old logo from my high school that I restored a long time ago. I think you could really improve upon it, if you had the time and inclination to do so. If not, that's fine:

  5. I may start helping out with this, just depends on my free time and whatnot.

Anyway, with Ren's permission, here's my contribution to the thread.

I did this back in '09 when the AFL Legacy uniforms were announced.

    Well done.

ren, LSU and the Dolphins fix are outstanding. The Tiger face looks ablaze. I love it.

I'd love to see what you do with those Texas Tech and Tulsa logos.
