Detroit Drive
Colors: Black & Gold
Logo: Cheetah, why? Fastest land animal, paying homage to other big cat teams of the Lions and Tigers.

That is one thing I found unique about the CFL uniforms is the different color sleeves like that of the Ti-cats of the 70s/80s (white sleeves on black jerseys, vice versa) and of the Alouettes like you have posted and other Alouette jerseys of the past.

Awesome. Some ideas for expansions- Anchorage, Spokane, Grand Rapids, Billings?
Like these choices but:
Anchorage - No stadium
Spokane - has Joe Albi Stadium, has room for larger CFL field because of no endzone stands.
Grand Rapids - has both Houseman Field and Lubbers Stadium at GVSU. Both could accept larger CFL field.
Billings- not sure on stadium.
Plus these cities:
Milwaukee- no stadium
Rochester NY- no stadium, but maybe Rhinos? Stadium.

I can see for a Portland dark uniform, navy jersey, paired with both silver helmets and silver blue pants, a Dallas Cowboy uniform ensemble. But I also see where you're going with this, and it's a great color combination.
Note: A dark purple maybe Eggplant like the Mighty Ducks, would be sharp alternative to the navy. But you're going with 2000 Seahawks colors here.

Love that you went with Purple & Gray, but UWO use those colors too ( only silver not gray), that might be an issue. But good job on the logo and unis though!

Nashville Ospreys
a play on words with the Grand Old Opry and also the Osprey is a common bird in Tennessee
What along the Mississippi or Tennessee River or lakes? If I'm not mistaken, I thought an osprey lives along the coast?

Toronto & Montreal- made me think at first, but they started to grow on me.
Hamilton- Not feeling the primary logo, love the pawprint secondary.
Ottawa- loving the Axe superimposed into the "R"!
Atlantic- not feeling the logo here.

It doesnt matter if its an alternate uniform, orange and green trim or they have a white helmet. I'm just stating they're similiar and finally I dont care if they are, READ my last sentence in my last post!!
-
BZZZ...wrong! Blue with green collar, and the all blue jersey and pants is similiar to what the broncos wear now, so even if you went with white pants, you still are similiar because the broncos also wear that combo too. But really don't care if they're both similiar, navy and orange is my favorite color combo in sports uniforms.
-
Even with the white pants, Seattle will still be similiar to the Broncos...

Did McMahon ever say he'd let the older teams come back? Like Frisco, Las Vegas, Chicago, etc. Of course, the Hitmen and the Extreme wouldn't unless the current teams changed, but that's unlikely.
-
Wait a minute, look at the concept helmet the Jaguars used and how the Jaguar car company filed a lawsuit over that logo cuz it was similiar. It COULD happen.
-
I don't get how the V logo is so bad. What it's too simple? Besides what if they put the snake head on the helmet, Mattel/Hasbro might complain it too close to their Cobra logo?

I'm thinking that Tampa Bay should've used forest green rather than the kelly green. It's just like AAF Salt Lake with the blue and baby/light blue. The shades of the color are too close.

So is Seattle's official primary color blue or green? I honestly don't know. Their logo is primarily green, with little blue. But their home uniforms are blue. And the score bug on Fox shows blue as the primary color, but last week's ESPN bug showed green. The stadium is dressed mainly in orange and their away uniforms features pretty much no blue.
So which is it?
I dont think it really matters in today's marketing scheme, as long one of those colors is the base, no matter which one is the primary. For instance you see a lot of orange used as a base color on apparel, novelities, etc., of the Chicago Bears when you know Navy is their primary color.

I don't mind the Wildcats colors, the uniforms could be upgraded. But something about the LA logo on the helmet really bothers me. For some strange reason, it's trying to be like many of the New York teams that have the NY, but looks like it belongs on a baseball cap. Does anyone agree with me?
-
Alabama has numbers on both sides of their helmets, I know it's tradition. But it's better than just one side!
-
One design the AAF did with their helmets that really irked me was the logo on one side and jersey number on the other. At least that didnt happen with the XFL!

My rankings of the XFL uniforms:
1 Seattle
2 Houston
3 NY
4 St.Louis
5 DC
6 TB
7 LA
8 Dallas

The Concorde plane is obsolete though.
Thanks for the logical, realistic response Data.

For Montreal, you could bring back the old CFL Concordes name. The team only lasted a couple of yrs, but still sounds good.

If you put basketball stripes in the wave on the Waves logo and call them the Breakers and you'll have a cool suggestion to rename the NBA's Clippers...Just sayin!
