  1. With the whole potential "reactivating the franchise talk" is it possible that the name, logos, etc... will be held for a new potential Arizona franchise and SLC will have a completely new identity?

  2. I have 450ish NHL jerseys. I am keeping them all for my kids, (future grandkids) or any family or friends that may want them. My daughter will wear my older/obscure ones on school spirit days & have started a small youth sized collection for my 3 boys. I have given a few away over the the years to some of my students that I have had a close connection with.

  3. Please move to the requests if should be posted there instead.

The day before Thanksgiving instead of regular classes our school wants us to host seminars related to a hobby or interest of ours aside from academics.

I am hosting a create a jersey seminar. Essentially I am going to show my students samples of different jerseys from different sports to give them ideas.

Then, I would like to give them a jersey template and colored pencils to design a jersey.

At the end, I will refer them to different companies that can turn their concepts into a reality.

Can anybody share blank templates for Hockey, Football, Baseball and Basketball jerseys that can be printed off for easy student use (high school)?

Thanks in advance, I plan to share student creations.

Not a chance they’re getting DeBrincat that cheap, especially when you see what the Jets got in return for Dubois. At the very least it would be a 1st rounder + another piece or two. Berggren has been mentioned a lot.

Not to mention it would be an in-division trade.

I don't think the design is bad, especially compared to the real Edge disasters, although I do think it would have worked better for a team like Nashville instead of the Caps. Certainly it's not an eyesore like this.

Crosby winning the Cup on Detroit's ice makes it an instant classic!

I guess this should go in the Reel Line Mint thread, but I'm not actually posting a realignment? Just sort of talking about possibilities...

One of the more annoying arguments against Quebec City is that it's in the East and moving the Coyotes to the East would require either the Blue Jackets or Red Wings to move back to the West and G-d forbid the Red Wings play in the West again. So hard done by in that conference, I swear.

This is annoying for two reasons. The first is the one I touched on above, that the Red Wings are somehow a special, delicate franchise that will wilt if they have to play in the West. Which is ridiculous.

The second reason it's annoying is because it assumes the current alignment system is in any way good or worthy to keep around. For :censored:'s sake, they put Tampa and Florida in a division with Toronto, Buffalo, Boston, Montreal, and Ottawa. This isn't some holy thing here. It's dumb.

So my proposal is to go back to what the league did for the 2020-2021 season...with a twist. Bring back the four geographic divisions but instead of keeping them isolated have them scheduled against each other. You can toss Quebec City into the North/Canada Division, and group the Red Wings and Blue Jackets with teams in their general region.

It's just a thought. Quebec City's a great market and "we'd love to but the alignment" is dumb because if the choice is between an alignment system or a market that will actually pay real, hard currency for tickets then you take the latter.

A running joke here in Michigan is from about 2003-2013 all Wings fans would say is... If they were in the East they would be in the finals almost every season.

At one time the Wings were one of the 15 western most teams in the league. Hell, Toronto was in the West until 1998.

From 1995-2009 being in the West served them pretty well.

A second for wouldn’t work in Detroit or even Michigan. The Red Wings are beloved there and a relocation of another team would be laughed at and moved the next year

Beloved / Supported when they are doing well.  Attendance at the new Little Ceaser Arena has been poor, can't imagine a new crappy relocated Coyotes would take on any dissatisfied Wings fans.
