Are you sure about that late season field? In 1984, the Federals helmet was silver.

If they did decide to rebrand like that, I'd want to see them tweak the color scheme a bit. Keeping the brown/orange look would make them the same old Browns to me. Going with a simple brown/white uniform would give them a clean look, and would also help differentiate themselves from their in-state orange rival.

 

 

You know, that's not really that bad. Although I would say have a LITTLE orange, just to tie it to their history. But brown and white ain't awful.

Really like this Oilers set from the mid-60s. Although the stripes are mix-and-match.

Probably late to this discussion, but I liked the LA bolt that the Chargers used for all of 2 days (or whatever it was). I really don't get all the Twitterverse hate for it.

Here is something interesting about the Diamondbacks.  According to that Uni Watch article from 2014, there were supposed to be COPPER pinstripes instead of the purple that they ended up going with.

I actually like that a little bit better but yet again I may be one of the very few.

The copper pinstripes also were going to be wider than standard. That's the wording I've always heard. Not sure if that meant the gap between the stripes was wider, or the stripes themselves were thicker.

Cowboys vs. Redskins, only time this combo happened, 1981:

Cowboys had redesigned their blue jersey, but by the middle of the season, they had added a blue separation between the silver number and white outline.

Also, looking around, I found this Rams jersey I hadn't seen before:

That's Deacon Jones, so this happened sometime between his rookie year in 1961 and 1966, when the Rams dropped yellow temporarily. No Packers NOB, so that may be a clue.
