Much like Roanoke College (VA) next year, Centenary College of Louisiana (the state’s first university) is bringing back its football program after 82 year hiatus.

I'd say part of it is the fact the jerseys came out so late in the game.  If they had been available day one, I don't think we'd be having this discussion, because he led of the year wearing the Renegades jersey to restart the league. I had hoped he'd have done that for all the games, but that's not that big a deal as making sure you're at all of the games.

I remember the guys that got their own names on the jerseys were the owners, like Elway and Jaworski. So the Rock putting his name on the jerseys when not playing a down in this league isn't a new thing.

    This doesn't count

Just now realizing that Philly has silver helmets in that commercial which is wild.

I saw on Twitter that the Defenders' jerseys don't have the sleeve stripes and quite honestly... looked horrible. I'm passing on XFL jerseys for now... and maybe prefer getting a Royal Retros' copy cat over an overpriced licensed turd.

  3. I have been working with a factory on some sublimated items, but I am having issues getting them to print colors accurately. I give them a Pantone code for the items and using Pantone Connect ensure that the correct colors are in my .AI files that I send but the colors aren't quite right. Maroon is too brown and burgundy is too purple.

Does anyone have experience with sublimation or sublimators that could offer me some advice? I'm burning through money and not getting what I want for these items and well, it kind of sucks.

    Thanks.

  4. I recently started my own brand offering sports uniforms (and working on other stuff - this isn't a plug just the truth) I've been doing a lot of mockups for high school programs and making samples trying to get some sales going and along with that, I have been just dabbling with random concepts to practice using my template and wanted to share some here for shiggles.

Nothing ground breaking here. Just having some fun with my favorite CFL team. Credit Jason Nessa for the CFL shield logo. Thought it was a fun version of the logo that popped up on a Google search. Had to go find him on Behance check him out Here

note: don't mind the Pantone color codes being hex... I only use pantone for uniforms that are going to be made, since these were just practice I used hex codes

These look like a super bush league high school now.  The Orange mask at least gave it some sort of a custom, major league finish.

My guess is they didn't have enough made and maybe they are ordering more.  Instead of mixing & matching for the player helmets they had now, maybe they pulled the Black that they acquired from the AAF and are just using them temporarily.  Hopefully the Orange mask returns but that custom paint can take a minute.

The XFL didn't purchase the AAF equipment, Major League Football did.

I think the black looks more polished and "major league" while the orange looked like a high school trying too hard. But that's merely my opinion. I totally agree on the side panels YUCK!

  6. The name plate also doesn't match. The Bears actual tv numbers aren't the same as the numbers on the jersey, they have more of an oval to them and are a lot fatter.. If you're interested I can shoot you a pm with my elite jersey for comparison, but once you see the two, you can completely tell that's a fake.

That being said, my jersey also had the thin white paper on the numbers.

i remember buying my first jersey on http://www.weiketrade.hk when i google my jordan jersey .and found out it . and placed my order with my paypal .about 1 hours later . they sent me email saying that my payment was sucessful .and in 3 days they will ship my package . they sent my in the fourth day after payment and in another 7 days . i got my jersey .that's awesome for a price of 25 dollars.

You should really consider doing commericals for them cause you're an excellent spokesperson.

Yes, please send me a PM of your jersey. I'd love to see it.

  7. So, we've all heard it. Someone says "I got a guy who works at Nike/Reebok/Somewhere that can get jerseys cheap!" Well, my buddy came over today with this Nike "authentic" Bears jersey and it looks great. There are a few snags in the jersey material itself maybe from being in storage/shipping I don't know. But it appears to be on the up and up. But, I do have some questions and know this is the best place to go. I snapped some photos.

This is the reverse side of the front of the jersey and it looks suspicious to me.

The TV numbers have a white material on the backside of the numbers too. It's very very thin almost like a wax paper. If anyone has a REAL Nike NFL jersey I would love to see some pictures of it,

The material also feels very very similar to my Nike Dri-Fit coaches polo, not sure if that's relevant but figured I share that info too.

Anyone think my suspicion is warranted?
