I think Vegas would be just as bad as Phoenix, if not worse (smaller market size and an even more boom-and-bust economy).

That NCAA logo is almost assuredly CBS-inspired, derived from the type used by CBS Sports. Big difference is where the C meets the first A ? those are not connected in the original CBS version. The old actual NCAA logo was much plainer ? a circle with serif text.
