I'm surprised no one's voiced any disdain for their arena league helmet stripes.
-
Don't know how unpopular this is, but I really like the San Diego Chargers number font
Agency. The comic sans of the sports world.

What the Bucs previously wore was certainly not trying to be a costume, it simply employed colors reminiscent of the new brand. And it worked.
It's not a costume, are eagles green? And pirates are supposed to be colorful and clean?

As for the other team... I think Cincinnati is a nice option. Gives West Virginia a nearby rival.
I'm not in love with the idea, but it would sell a lot of tickets here in Lubbock too.
-
But old time hockey.Ya there was absolutely no need for those new jerseys. Complete downgrade.
-
Nowhere near as bad? You could have done what the Clippers did for ANY sports team, gave it the usual marketing spin, and it'd have the exact same lack of brand personality. Sometimes, bad design is just that.
-
Blue? You mean teal? Honestly there aren't any colors that could make that design work.
-
The Ducks just need to realize they need to go to hunter green and orange

The opinion: The Browns is a rather dumb nickname.
The question: Can a case be made that the name does not technically hold up for the same reasons the Dallas Lone Stars name does not? (i.e pluralizing what is supposed to be a singular object)

Extremely overrated

It seems i'm the only one that like KU's Trajan font.
The Trajan font is one of my favorite professional fonts but it only works on certain medium. Basketball can get away with it, but it looks perfectly out of place on the gridiron.

Heres one: I don't like the use of the word "as" in almost every single post.^

I know this is the unpopular opinions thread, but sometimes opinions are wrong.
Opinions are never right or wrong; they're "opinions".
That doesn't save some opinions from being completely stupid.

This identity works tremendously well. Let's hope their unis follow suit.

Shut 'er down boys. We have ourselves a winner.

That is neither the new cut nor the old. That's your biggest giveaway if you ask me.

I agree. Grey is quite too redundant to ruin a unique color scheme like Seattle's.
Then I guessed it's already ruined
-
Dolphins now have the best logo in the NFL
Well, you're doing it right.
-
I'm a fan of the Bills' helmet stripe widening in the back. Is that an unpopular opinion?
-
Well, I do want the NHL in Seattle but not like this. Their team would have to carry all the garbage, erm baggage, from this current team and will be vilified from the start. Leave it to the NHL to derail a success story before it even gets a chance to begin.
At least I can say it would be better than Glendale, right?
-
Do we have any actual evidence to write off Seattle as a hockey town aside from the lack of resources? In reality speculation doesn't count for anything but they do have already have a Cup to their name and like anything else that's new, it would be a big draw from the get-go.

I'm not a fan of the Stars new uniforms
-
I'm not sure how unpopular this is, but I hate drop shadowed numbers. I can't think of a single example of a uniform with drop shadowed numbers that wouldn't look better without it.
I tend to give the Rags some leeway because it's almost become synonymous with their uniforms by this point and it doesn't look overdone like most other cases. It blends in just enough to fit with the rest of their identity.
