  1. That dude for whatever reasons loves all-white uniforms and even calls them "icy white" which contradicts a lot of his good taste.
  2. I guess I was in the minority when I had no interest in it happening at any point. It looks as pointless and dull as I expected all along. I mean it’s literally a colorless uniform. At least they’re limiting it to one game at home, but I wish they would drop the random additional road game they’ve been using it for and go back to two orange games.
  3. Would've been cool to see an updated version of these color combos, for that Monday night game, but instead it will probably be White Tiger against Black Jaguar with no orange or teal to found.
  4. My bad. I misread that original message. Main idea I was going for was that the league loosened the sock rules and I don' t feel there's any reason to believe things will go back to how they were any time soon.
  5. This is pretty much how its been every year since 2019, with 2021 being the only exception when they wore orange THREE times. Even before the white helmet they still preferred the old white Color Rush look to the orange jersey. I don't get it either. I wish they would at least wear it against teams like this rather than the Chiefs or Steelers:
  6. Orange against the Steelers again is such a joke. They insist on wearing it against red and yellow teams only.
  7. I am also confused. Their wording is quite unclear, but I am pretty sure they just mean that when they wear the white helmet, they got permission to use the regular white jersey for those games, like how the Panthers do with the black helmet/jersey. At the end of the video it still lists the Rams game as the game it is being worn this season. I hope this is the case, and if so, they are making way too big of a deal over a pretty minor change.
  8. This was a rule until 2019. No idea what genius came up with the idea to nullify it.
  9. I doubt these teams would do these things given the three game limit and would probably just stick with their monochrome uniforms that they are already obsessed with.
  10. I really hope it’s the Rams of those two. The last three trips to Lambeau they wore blue pants. If Green Bay wears all-green, maybe they switch to yellow pants finally. Pack wore throwbacks against the Chargers in 2015, so I would like to see their regular green jerseys this time, ideally with the Chargers in white on white.
  11. Yup, this is another case of a uniform not being as bad as people want to believe it is, but because they wear stupid combos all the time, people develop a negative opinion of the team's aesthetic in general and want a change.
  12. I miss when the Jets looked like this in 2020 for most of their white jersey road games.
  13. Game 1 of the preseason and we already have a team in white pants and white socks.
  14. The Panthers have mentioned it in several posts, so it looks to be legit. That would look incredibly weird if Seattle did that.
  15. Either way, this is a case where I'm happy Dallas isn't wearing navy because even when these teams play in Dallas, Carolina seems to avoid the black jerseys and go with blue instead. Happened 2015 and 2021.
  16. "They should just make these the primaries already!"
  17. A lot going on here: https://www.panthers.com/news/panthers-release-2023-jersey-schedule Black jerseys vs. Houston for the first time ever! Black jerseys vs. Dallas at home for the first time since '07. It says black at Seattle Week 3 and white at home for Monday night Week 2. I almost feel like these are flip-flopped and that was an error. Otherwise Seattle is likely wearing white at home for the first time ever. Tampa once again is wearing white at home vs. Carolina late in the season. Hopefully that doesn't mean no red jerseys before that game. Blue jersey only being worn on the road once again.
  18. Mathematically, any matchup is quite unlikely to happen again. For instance, in 2021 these divisions were matched up for the 17th game and it was Eagles at Jets. This year the AFC has the extra home game, which means it would again in 2025, unless the league decides to flip the rotation so that it's not the same every cycle. This is the only way the Dolphins or Bills could play at Philly again before 2031. And even then, one of them would have to finish in the same place in the standings. At least Bills Eagles looked right in 2015:
  19. I agree these are poor choices. All AFC Teams and both likely will be in all-white. How exciting.
  20. Eagles are oddly wearing kelly green for both AFC games: Week 7 vs Miami on SNF Week 12 vs. Buffalo 4:25 At least one of these teams is sure to wear all-white from head to toe, which won't add much to the matchup. I thought there were some better opponent options on their schedule, like MIN on TNF, DAL, SF, NYG on Christmas, etc.
  21. I agree it will almost certainly be one of those two games, and then white over black could be worn Week 3 vs. New England or Week 6 vs. Philly, depending on how much white they wear at home this year. I think it would work okay against Philly in green over white. I would much rather see the black uniform on Black Friday against the Fins than for a rare matchup against the Chargers. I don't want to see the Chargers in all-white vs. the Jets in all-black.
  22. This is exactly how I feel about that all-white Browns uniform. Both of these teams should be in orange helmets 100% of the time.
  23. Another surprise announcement today. I had a feeling it would be this game since they didn't want the Rams showing up in their Super Bowl combo. Hopefully this means orange will be worn twice this year instead.
