  1. The other two opponents are perfect choices. They should've chosen the Week 9 Cardinals game over the Niners. They hosted them two years ago in their regular brown over white look.
  2. The Browns are wearing all-white for the ONE game on their schedule I specifically wanted to see them wear brown for: Week 6 vs. the 49ers. Why must this always happen with inter conference matchups I'm excited for? This is what we got in 2015: And this is what I was fully expecting and hoping for this year: They're wearing the white helmet three times, which means at least we won't see the pointless Color Rush all-brown look anymore. I guess that's why they felt the need to shove it down our throats last season.
  3. This is interesting and potentially could mean that they will pair them with the navy Color Rush set for one game. I’ve always wondered why the team doesn’t wear red more than one game. I have a feeling it might be the Watt Pittsburgh game in addition to the Thanksgiving weekend Jags game, or maybe the Christmas Eve game against Cleveland.
  4. I guess both. The TC logo on the cap would improve it immensely.
  5. We are at the point that black over gold isn't even allowed to be our favorite Saints uniform. This is outrageous.
  6. I still can’t get over how boring these Twins road uniforms are. Looks like something you’d buy at Walmart.
  7. I don’t think it’s fair to put the Commanders in this category right now. They wore plenty of burgundy last season, aside from the black jersey games. I could see this being white/burgundy vs. green jerseys. Jets didn’t wear any white at home in the second half of the season in 2022.
  8. I think they also don't want to lose any white-at-home games since the team has become obsessed with the white over pewter look. Pewter jerseys have only been worn once each of the past two seasons, and I would expect that to stay that way.
  9. Twice in one season after a 10 year hiatus wouldn’t make them any less scarce. Why not wear them a couple times to show them off to the fans and increase jersey sales? It wouldn’t hurt to see them again in December rather than just reverting back to the Creamsicle-less days for the final 12+ weeks of the season, at least for this first season. I agree though that many people think highly of throwbacks for this reason, which is why I get annoyed when fans beg teams to make throwbacks the primary uniform.
  10. They can wear them three times but instead are choosing to wear them only once for a non-primetime game, which is why I feel like all this hype is excessive.
  11. I would say it's clearly going to be a blue helmet to go with the blue Color Rush.
  12. I’m gonna say it’s the Christmas night matchup if the Ravens wear purple pants. Followed by the Cleveland matchup if the Browns don’t wear Color Rush.
  13. Looks like Indy is wearing throwback against the Steelers for the second straight season. I hate when teams do this.
  14. I am disappointed in myself for not thinking of this one sooner: The rainy weather did not help. I remember this was the weekend right before Sandy hit in 2012.
  15. Nice to see we're all embracing the terrible rather than complaining about it. We can save that for when the season starts.
  16. This is true. I think we definitely see them either Week 3 on Thursday night vs. the Giants or for this Dallas game.
  17. I would love to finally see something different for this matchup, but I would be quite shocked if both teams wore an alternate.
  18. There have been some pretty bad ones the past few seasons. I certainly wouldn't put Denver default road vs. Arizona default home in the mix, but here are a couple others that come to mind that haven't been mentioned:
  19. Eh, the Falcons seemed to prefer the all-black look again last season. Black on white was only worn for 2/9 home games.
  20. This would be cool, but that Week 15 game will almost definitely have the Bills in Color Rush red. Buffalo has worn it the home game before Christmas each of the past five seasons: 2018 Week 15 vs. DET 2019 Week 14 vs. BAL 2020 - Week 14 vs. PIT 2021 Week 15 vs. CAR 2022 Week 15 vs. MIA They do have a number of home prime time games this season though, so maybe we see it Week 8 Thursday night vs. Tampa or Week 10 Monday night vs. Denver.
  21. It could also be argued that the 2019 season was actually a more significant contributing factor with the relaxed sock rules that had every team wearing solid white socks. Color Rush was originally just a Thursday thing.
  22. If I recall correctly, it was at this exact moment (first Color Rush game ever) that football uniform trends began to go downhill.
  23. Gray pants have gotten lighter in general. They don’t contrast very well with white jerseys in most cases.
  24. Reebok jerseys looked shinier in general. The flat orange Nike jerseys look okay in the sunlight, but by the end of the game when it’s darker out, they look super dull.
  25. Denver switched to orange when Nike took over in 2012, the same year Manning arrived. At the time, this was cool, but since their 2015 Super Bowl, it's been one mediocre QB after another and the team hasn't sniffed the playoffs once. No one looks at this uniform anymore and associates it with winning, or any positive feelings for that matter. It's severely outdated and the orange jersey has never looked good under Nike. The only Broncos uniform matchups I enjoy anymore are those involving the navy jersey or Color Rush orange. Even if it's an underwhelming redesign, I can't imagine it being anything less appealing than what they have now.
