  1. So now that everything's been revealed, let's talk about them. Bucs: Right call going back to the SB-era uniforms. The pewter alt is the worst of the bunch, but it' snot even all that terrible. A+. Browns: Again, going back to traditional was the way to go. Good stuff. Chargers: Awesome upgrade! Royal blue and navy uniforms are unnecessary (even if they're Color Rush) but still good. Numbers on the helmets are a nice touch. Pats: Traditional really suits them. Colts: Like someone else said, kind of a lateral move, but that's not a bad thing. They still look good. Falcons: I don't hate them as much as everyone else does, but they're still bad. "ATL" on the chest is a weird decision, and the gradient alt is just stupid. Rams: They overthought everything and it shows. Why gradient numbers on one uniform and not the other? Why gradient numbers at all? Why the off-white roads? Why the weird wordmark patches? Hopefully they fix everything in 5 years.
  2. They kinda remind me of the Sonics' uniforms, but that's not a compliment. I know I'm echoing what everyone else already said, but they really should've brought yellow back.
  3. Looks like this is gonna be an unpopular opinion, but I don't hate it. I'm kinda just glad they finally got a new logo. Although if it were up to me, I'd replace the "R" logo with the "HR" logo, make the ball yellow, and make the ring a solid color.
  4. I don’t mind the logos that much—frankly they should’ve switched to the new primary (global?) a long time ago. Also, the mountains on the shorts are a nice touch. But the biggest issue is, like someone else said, color balance. If they absolutely had to go with blue/gold/red like New Orleans and Cleveland, I think they should use blue and gold as primaries with red as accent. In fact, they could’ve chosen the lighter blue over navy and it would’ve solved a few problems. As is, it’s not terrible but it’s also far from great.
  5. I'm not surprised. I don't mind the checkerboard pattern, but I can see why fans wouldn't like it considering how Tennessee is one of their major conference rivals. I can't speak for their other teams, but I would't mind them wearing something similar to the Rupp-era uniforms.
  6. I don’t know how unpopular this is since I haven’t heard anyone talk about it, but I think the marshal badge logo on Oklahoma State’s football helmets should be the new primary logo. It might need some tweaking, but it could work.
  7. I don't hate the idea, but phones and tablets don't really lend itself well to title belts. Try using an app icon shape instead. In fact, you could look at Zack Ryder's Internet Championship belt for inspiration. Hope this helps.
  8. I don't have to say about the uniforms other than switching from sky blue to navy was unnecessary. That being said, I think it's time for the Nuggets to rebrand. They've had the same uniform template since the Carmelo era, they've recolored their logo three times since 1993, and they have the same color scheme as three or four other teams in the league. Something has to change.
  9. I think I understand what the Pacers were going for, but as much as I want to like them, it's just alright. There's a lot of good elements by themselves, they just don't mesh well together. I don't hate them, but I don't love them either.
  10. I can't say it's the worst thing ever, but I think they can do so much more. The word mark and numbers don't match the minimalist approach. It's okay, just not what I was expecting.
  11. Adding black just kills the look for me. Either stick with navy or replace it with black. Other than that, I don't hate it.
  12. The new Pistons logo doesn't do the wordmark any favors, imo. It seems to look better arched than flat. I think it's time for them to find a new one.
  13. If you wanted to use cities from newer shows, there's Elmore (The Amazing World Of Gumball), Beach City (Steven Universe), Marzipan City (Chowder), and Stormalong Harbor (The Marvelous Misadventures Of Flapjack), and that's just at the top of my head. Teen Titans has Jump City, but I don't know if you'd want to use it since it's based on a comic. As for the logos, I don't have much to say. They're really good.
  14. I'm kinda torn, to be honest. Not sure whether to blame Nike for the Secretariat "homage" or Kentucky for not realizing that using a design from a rival team might not have been the best decision.
  15. I can see the Blazers going retro--or at least a fauxback--but not much else.
  16. I never liked the road kit that the Mavs started wearing during their championship season, mainly because the navy name on the front is near impossible to read, even with a silver outline. Maybe it's just me, given how high they're rated on the main site, but I've always felt that they were synonymous with the navy set.
  17. That was Nike's idea. It's supposed to be a homage to Secretariat.
  18. Whichever color scheme they decide to use, it looks more like a secondary logo than a primary. And if you are going to get a new primary, just promote the claw logo you already have. Adding purple would help also, but if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
  19. I'm on an iPad so I can't post a pic, but I'd like to see what you can do with Wallace Community College. They're called the Governors and they only do baseball and softball, but they don't really have an athletics brand. Here's a link to the school's website: http://www.wallace.edu
  20. I don't know why, but I actually like the navy/green/gold color scheme that the Brewers used to have. Granted, what they have now is way better, but I don't hate it.
  21. As I already mentioned in another discussion, I kinda like the new Bucs logo. Mind you, it's still a downgrade from the old logo, but not by much.
  22. @McCarthy I was talking about using gold full-time. As is, the St. Patty's uniforms would make a fantastic alternate to replace the green and black one. Now, if they added gold to the uniforms, I'd make those the away uniforms and do something similar to the 2008 championship jerseys for the home. Or at least have a gold outline around the name, numbers, and NOB.
  23. Gold would be better than the black they use in their alts. No doubt. Heck, they have gold in their logo. Either use that shade or lighten it up a bit and use it.
  24. As good as the Boston Celtics uniforms look, I wouldn't mind it if they used gold as an accent color. Not only would it work with the Irish motif, but it would be a nice tribute to their championship legacy.
