Anybody hear about the Michigan State Rose Bowl rings? Those must be coming out soon, now that Spring Ball is around the corner. I hope they use some color, that usually helps make a ring pop. The FSU national title rings look awesome. One of their best rings along with their 1999 national title ring. Thanks for posting that up! Karl.

I knew about the Steelers recent refusal, but not about the Colts. Interesting stuff. I thought the Niners might do the same but they ended up making beautiful NFC championship rings. The answer to my trivia question is the 1962 Green Bay Packers. The only championship under Lombardi where they did NOT choose rings. But they won the championship (pre-nfl merger of course). K.

Sports-rings.......In regards to your last question, how about a team that WON a world championship but got watches instead of rings? Can you name the team and the year this happened? Karl.

Hey, thanks so much. I look forward to discussing these things with you and the others. I was already aware of your presence in the collectors market, so I was surprised and pleased when you joined the forum. I should have contributed to the forum earlier, but at least now I have. In a way, you inspired me to speak up! As for your question about how to get more attention to this forum and increase members and exposure...I'm not sure. I am not sure everyone shares our passion for the subject at hand. Everyone in my family thinks I'm nuts. And no one else cares even remotely about championship rings. So what are ya gonna do?! You don't happen to know Scott Welkowski do you? I think he's out here in SoCal like me, but I'm not sure. Talk to you soon, Karl

Dralec I think you meant to say 2003 championship ring because the ring picture you posted is not the ring from 1993. That 1993 ring looked very different. Otherwise, just wanted to say hello to everyone. This is my first post but I have been lurking for several months. Glad to join the group finally.
