I think the white jersey could use some more orange, I think it'd look pretty good with the orange and blue swapped.

I really dislike white jerseys at home in basketball. Would prefer teams be more like the Lakers and have bright color at home and dark color for away. Maybe have a white jersey as an option in case of colors being too hard to tell apart.

I like the name Crawfish. It's first with Night Owls second. Just Gators would be really good, but they had to make it something stupid like Tailgators. 

Baby Cakes is probably the last thing I'd name a baseball team, it sounds like the name a 5 year old girl would give a puppy.

With the Big XII, everything funnels through Texas.  Texas wants and has two things: a bigger portion of the pie and the most power.  Texas would only agree to expansion if their wheels get greased by whomever...see TCU and how they support Texas's wishes in everything.  "Ok Houston, you want to join us in the big leagues?  You'll do it under two conditions: We get your vote on anything, and instead of our pie slice getting smaller, use the market of Houston as your revenue source."

 

 

Houstons a huge hotbed for recruits and I don't think the other Texas schools would like it if there was an available P5 school in Houston for recruits.

Yeah, same here. Actually, I think Dallas would do way better for their look if they dropped the light blue altogether and just were navy and gray like the Cowboys, even though the Cowboys only use those colors on their navy alts. Here's a quick mockup I did in MS Paint.

The NBA's BiG Color Christmas Uniforms were awesome.
