  1. i did their is nothing in here that explains why you created a team called boston minutemen .......far as i knew boston dosnt have an NFL team or i wouldnt be asking
  2. you have made no mention of this so i thought i would ask, what's your reasoning behind changing the team names? i thought you were just updating the kits to look like the flags, im not saying you shouldn't of course, im just asking why you chose to go that route instead of merely updating the unis
  3. i would like to say that i thought of HBO when i first saw this, it was only when i looked again and saw concepts that i realised this wasnt the case, i would like to see your other ideas before i give you any opinion though as i wonder if any of your old ones can be added to this to improve it i often find this a handy thing to do whenever i come up with an idea
  4. If you're gonna use this one, at least use the non-digital version: (P.S. One of my favorites as well). nuff said their mate, .....this is pure and simple the best album in the world and possibly the best kind of design you can find, im going to post this one to suppliment it its important we dont confuse bands we like with the actual album art we like (i like iron maiden and metallica for example), but its also rare to find great album art on a great album, because to me a great album dosnt need fancy art lol
  5. well i use paint shop pro so thats what this is all about, i think its a little easyer to use than PS even if it dosnt have some of the features of PS yet, you might want to consider it its not bad and these templates are fully compatible with it
  6. They are also known as The Jacks. Due to the people of Swansea being called Swansea Jacks so your point is? ...the team is called as the swans, the term jacks hasn't been used since the 30s, i mean many clubs have two nicknames (West Ham are called both The Hammers and The Iron) but its a case of what's more current (no one calls West Ham The Iron any more) not personal opinion and the fact is they more often than not referred to as the SWANS, ......i mean case in point he has Manchester City as The Citizens, if you had put the sky blues witch is also a nickname i would have pointed this out, but as it happens its the Swansea nickname that is wrong My point is that using the nickname The Jacks he is still correct about using it. It is still relevant apart from it being in your little world.Just because YOU don't hear it does not mean it is relevant. as i suspected you have no point then, you see i never actually flat out said it was incorrect i said it wasnt used as much, witch last i checked is exactly what you said here helloooooo pot ...this is kettle i could level the same accusation at you at the end of the day, just saying, look im not going to get into a slanging match with you just because you are too ignorant to realise the correlation between something's relevance and something the majority of the country has used for the last 50 years fact is its not exactly my personal bubble when Clive Tyldesley and company use it, is it? and quite frankly i would rather listen to them (and the few fans of the club that i know, hell even the few hundred people that i have heard use the term on TV, in bars, ect over the course of my lifetime), than listen to someone who thinks that being known as a nickname, and being relevant and current are the same things I mean its clear that the club itself disagrees with you or it wouldnt have called its charity "swan aid" for crying out loud
  7. Sure ....and it aint QPR ..their all my club Sheffield Wednesday lmao
  8. possibly the supporters are but its definitly more common to call the team the swans or at least its the term i hear the most passed round by commentators ...a few of their supporters that i know, and generally most of the people i know, so i wouldnt particularly call the jacks a common name tbh, its an older name, i know that (i had heared of it before now) and i know the term stems from a story about a local dog saving some people in the 30s but like i say, swans is the more common term used to describe the club, i ,mean its only the same as west hams nickname of the irons, its the older term, stems from the time they were called thames ironworks, but hammers is the most common because of their logo
  9. They are also known as The Jacks. Thanks. i did, but it still dosnt change the fact that S comes before T and you have them out of order on the above image, .....no im sorry and im not gonna make this an issue, but what the hell does the order they are in on behance.net have to do with how they are presented above?, im looking at and talking about the images in the first post, .....if you had posted them as they are on the other page i wouldn't have brought it up
  10. i disagree i have a manchester united replica shirt from 1998-2000 i dont wear it anymore because i dont support them, (i followed them at the time though, because all my family supported them, so i did too in the same way one might follow Barcelona but live in germany) but to me for to wear it again wouldnt be a problem (if i didnt have it hung on my wall as a collector piece) because it has Ryan Giggs name on the back (the mans a united legend) and it has the gold premier league logos worn in the 99-2000 season on the sleeves denoting the team are the current reigning champs, but that season previous they had won the champions league and F.A cup too ...so it was a season to remember for them, and im glad they kept the shirt two years in a row otherwise i wouldnt have been able to use the gold patches, but then again it wouldnt have mattered but i also have sheffield wednesday kits that dont particularly bring back fond memorys i mean we were hammered 5-1 at home by nottingham forest in that 1995-97 home shirt for christs sake .....but i wear em (and many other fans still do) because the designs are interesting, ...i mean in my opinion the only critisim i get when wearing them is for having an owl on the chest, and if thats all people have to critique then i dont give a but i also have some i do have good memorys of our 1991 league cup winning shirt for example the one we wore in the inaugural premier league season our 70s classic sets or christ even the one we wore 2 seasons ago when we got promoted its like that in football, i mean arsenals adidas "bruised" banana shirt from 1991 is thrown up in bad kit depates but once upon a time you couldnt look anywhere in london without seeing one, and i often still see them being worn today, its kind of a classic no matter what your view of its design by todays standards football tends to be like that
  11. eeeeeer swansea are known as the swans dude, and since you appear to have placed them in alphabetical order wouldnt they come between newcastle and tottenham? lol
  12. he he he ....technically i have actually spent the last 2 years researching what i can before attempting it .....but its mainly come about because i want my custom league to have the fonts used on the kits from that time lol i tell you what though, it helps to have the premier league archives on DVD thats for sure lol i mean i know their are some that aint 100% accurate but i have done what i can with the info i got, ...i mean most numbersets tend to be the basic Athletic block type with a manufacturers logo on them anyway
  13. yes i know but the problem is i cant find anything past 1998, since everything before that has simply been taken from images of teams the premier league (most sets seem to be universal)
  14. i like this ..someone do it for baseketball lmao
  15. i present my English Premier League and Football League font sets from 1992 to the present a few warnings some might not be 100% accurate as i have picked the closest fonts i have and have done what i can based on the evidence i have (few numbers and letters at best) - i will be constantly improving these designs thoughindividual numbersets go from 92 - 98 ....past this time the EPL used a universal font, the football league followed in 2000, but as of this time i have no evidence of any fonts used by football league teams between 97 and 99 ..when i do i will update the set, both FL fonts used a fixed colour border (silver then gold respectively) no matter what colour is inside the fontthese fonts are big (300-400 px long AND wide) they are designed to stand up when resized like an SVG but be layered like a psd and some have 4 layers each, do not try to open them all at the same time, unless you have sufficiant computer memoryif anyone has any changes or updates, please state here in this threadPaintshop Pro download link (mediafire) Photoshop compatible versions will be forthcoming
