I honestly really liked the Jags previous set.
The white Jersey with the teal numbers & gold outline is really nice.
Even the Black & Teal set are nice looking
I thought the should colors made them one of the more unique teams in the league.
Only thing they really should have changed was the helmet.
The new uniforms are just so plain looking.

So can someone remind me, was it this year they will be able to vote on changing the helmet rule?
So teams like The Patriots, Bucs, & Falcons could wear their throwback uniforms.

I feel like I’ve seen a stat like this before.

Something else I miss, remember when the Super Bowl would have both teams logos on the 25 yard lines?
Now they just replaced them with the NFL logo. Seriously, WTF?

I think there's a sort of Ironic charm to Edwards. But yeah, he definitely seems to try too hard.

I miss Super Bowl logos being unique & awesome.
I also miss when NHL used to have "Enforcers".

Dale Earnhardt was probably the first time I legitimately cried over losing someone I never even met.

2004 ALCS - Humiliating your greatest rival in a historic fashion that had never been done before, that was special.
2004 World Series - Do I really need to say anything? Ending the curse that has plagued the Red Sox for nearly a century.
Super Bowl XXXVI - The one that started everything, and the last time anyone from outside New England actually wanted the Patriots to win.
1998 Daytona 500 - Dale Earnhardt finally winning the race he never could, and seeing pit crew of nearly every team walk out to congratulate him is something that we will never see again.
Super Bowl XLIX - Mainly for that Malcom Butler INT
Super Bowl LI - I remember at halftime telling my dad "If anyone can come back from this, it's Brady & Belichick".

Putting up a "Conference Champions" banner for the same year won the championship (like the Raptors & Ducks) is kind of redundant, no?
-
Speaking of Nascar;
2007 Daytona 500 & 2009 Chase - Mark Martin was always one of my favorite drives, him losing the 500 like that hurt to watch. Also in 2009 seeing him lose his last chance to win a championship he really deserved.

Cowboys would have won. Whatever deal with the devil the Patriots made came with a clause that said that they couldn't beat anybody from the NFC East in the Super Bowl. There's no other explanation for losing to Eli Manning twice and making Nick Foles look like Joe Montana.
Except they absolutely demolished the Cowboys earlier that season.
Giants (also Baltimore) were the only teams that really threatened them.
Packers would have been fun matchup to see.

Cowboys playoff losses in 2007 and 2016.
I, to the day, still hate Patrick Crayton with every fiber of my being for breaking my heart. That 07 team was the best team I saw (because I was too young to remember their SB teams). And how they lost in 2016, just made me numb.
I didn't say a word, I went to bed a zombie, and eventually the numbness forced me to sleep.
God, I [censored] hate Aaron Rodgers.
I also hate the 07 Cowboys & Packers.
Patriots would have beaten either of those teams if they didn’t allow the :censored:ing Giants to win.
plus a Belichick vs. Parcells Super Bowl and a Favre vs Brady Super Bowl are 2 matchups I’m pissed we never got.

2003 ALCS
Super Bowl XLII
2013 Stanley Cup Final
2010 NBA Finals.

Are any counties boycotting the World Cup?
That's really the only way a message gets sent.
-
Roughnecks - Cool, but basically a copy of the Houston Oilers.
Wildcats - Pretty generic, especially for LA.
Renegades - Not bad. Like the colors.
Guardians- Ok I guess, still not sure exactly what it’s supposed to be. A lion or gargoyle?
BattleHawks - Again just ok, seems pretty generic
Dragons - Would have been so much better if they just called them the Seattle SeaDragons.
Vipers - Pretty cool. Vipers is an awesome name. Yellow & Green are always a cool combo.
Defenders - Another “meh”
i do wish they switch the names for St. Louis & Tampa.
“Tampa Bay BattleHawks” & “St. Louis Vipers” sound a lot better.

I don't know if Patriots-Jets is an all-timer, but it's something with the way Belichick and Parcells weave through both of them. I don't think there was ever much to it before then because the Patriots' only rivalry had been with its own obsolescence.
As far as Boston-NY rivalries go, I think Patriots-Giants is a bigger rivalry than Patriots-Jets. Despite not even being in the same conference.

So If I'm understanding this right; The Rays, a team that can't even get a new stadium built in 1 city, are demanding that 2 cities build them a new stadiums?

Where are you getting that they "barely make any money"? Even with the second worst attendance in the league, they are still getting tons of money from TV contracts and sponsorships.
Completely forgot about TV deal, Merch, etc. I just assumed with such bad attendance they weren't making that much to begin with.
-
Is there a reason Tampa Bay won't let the team out of it's lease?
What exactly are they getting out of keeping a team that barely makes any money?
-
Was The Rays attendance even that much better during 08 when they made the World Series? Did they even sell out any of their home games?

The Rays can talk to Montreal all they want, but the city of St. Pete has already announced any potential move like this violates their lease agreement.
I doubt the Rays are going anywhere until at least 2027.
I don't understand why the city is so intent on keeping a team that they don't want, fans clearly don't want, and doesn't make any money.

So now they can play in 2 empty stadiums instead of 1.
