  1. Someone posted these in Smith's survey tweet, I kind of like the logos, not sure on name(s)

I also changed the colors of the Phoenix posted earlier... Not as good but I like something along the lines of these

I wouldn't mind them wearing colors like this. In fact, Utah Phoenix has a nice ring to it 😆-

Maybe a dark forest green instead of Navy?

Maybe a logo like this but light blue and purple, call them the icebirds

They also won't use Red rocks as that's what the University of Utah gymnastics team goes by

That being said, my five favorites so far would be (no particular order):

    - Stags

    - Saints

    - Pronghorns

    Elks

    - Talons

    Wouldn't it just be Elk?

No chance they go with Golden Eagles for the reason you mentioned. Maybe Utah Eagles but not Golden

Why? I leep seeing this argument, it's not like they'd be naming the team the Golden Cavaliers, Golden Lancers or other synonyms for Knight

The Utah Jazz and the Utah Buzz

The minor league baseball team in Salt Lake was the Buzz before changing to the Bees. IIRC they had to change due to something with Georgia Tech

They've already produced tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of jerseys. Unless the Broncos want to eat a crap ton of costs, there's no going back.

They waived Russ and ate a ton of money already... what's a few million more?

I have always wanted to see an Arena League game.  Yeah it may be absolutely silly but also a lot of fun too

They're fun and a lot of action, guys either slamming into the boards, scoring, sometimes both. I went to a few back when Utah had a team

Agree they need to adjust it again, but I prefer this.

    K/P:  0-19

    QB:  0-19

    RB:  0-9, 20-49

    WR:  0-19, 80-89

    TE:  40-49, 80-89

    OL:  50-79

    DL:  50-59, 90-99

    LB:  0-19, 40-59, 90-99

    DB:  0-9, 20-49

You're still going to run out of single digits quickly.

    K

    P

    QB

    RB

    WR1

    WR2

    LB

    DB

That's 80% of them gone not counting backups and assuming only that number of players in those positions select a single digit

  8. If they've going to make it like college and anyone can wear whatever numbers they want then maybe they should go full college and allow offensive and defensive guys to wear the same numbers. That's ultimately what it's going to come down to with all the single digits being taken already when a new guy joins the team

Agree completely. After Gordon and Jr retired, I didn't have anyone to root for so I stopped watching. Now I have about a dozen different racers I'm pulling for. It's cool to see guys like Michael Jordan investing in the sport and the Cup Series adding new events. Like the Clash in LA, street course in Chicago (potentially NYC too) and dirt race in Bristol. Instead of the same oval after oval we saw for some many years. They've seen how popular F1 is becoming and I don't see anything wrong with copying their formula. Let fans get to know the drivers, their personalities and find new and exciting places to race.

I hate the Clash in the Colosseum and dirt at Bristol. Instead of spending the money to build a temporary track or haul dirt in, use that money to update older tracks and go back there for exhibition races (potentially bringing them back) or go to Eldora or other dirt tracks that already have crews and people that know how to maintain them

Nope there has not been any asymmetrical schemes. I know for a fact that in 2017 the #5 of Kasey Kahne had to change his Justice League scheme because it violated the rule.

Here's what the rule book says:

“Both (left-hand side) and (right-hand side) of the vehicle must emulate each other in all colors, markings and graphics. Vehicles with a longitudinal centerline split in appearance extending from front bumper to rear bumper will not be permitted.”

JJ's scheme might be able to skirt the rule since it just fades towards the back and is not the entire side. But that also may just be a show car and not the real scheme.

The 88 Justice League car wasn't symmetrical

I noticed that the scheme is asymmetrical (green Dollar Tree on one side, orange Family Dollar on the other). AFAIK, unless something's changed, NASCAR doesn't allow asymmetrical schemes.

I don't think that's the case any more. Pretty sure there have been some asymmetrical schemes in the last 5-10 years. None of them specifically come to mind at the moment though
