So the original logo set was blue & green, the hats are tan & brown, did they not go with that other logo??

Hate the color change for the knights, now all I can think of is central Florida, yet one more blue and green gone, it's by far the best color scheme in sports

In actual recent news...Eastern Kentucky's considering moving up to FBS (Sun Belt and MAC had been mentioned as possible conferences)

I'd like to see them in the Mac cause then it be a even football conference, but idk how long UMASS will stay cause I think they might go to the AAC...

Why not take all 3? The SoCon is loseing schools left and right(app st, ga southern., c of c and Davidson)

I think they will most likely take 2 or all 3. If they take all 3 it will put the SoCon at 11 so that probably means 1 more invite, or 1 more departure. If they take 2 they are at a good 10 team conference. I could picture them taking all 3 and UNCG leaves the conference (then you have a full 10 football team league). Alternatively, a team like Elon could be looking to ship out to the CAA.

If they all stay and are at 11 I think CCU is probably the next candidate in line.

I'm thinking UNCA. The SoCon men's bball tourney is here and they have instant rivals in Western Carolina & ETSU(if taken)

Never knew that about the pac12 so if not byu then who? Colorado st? Air Force? Or Hawaii?

Might as well add bsu, sdsu, UNLV and byu and then call it good

So does anybody realy think navy is gonna stick around in the "America 12" conference or they leave before 2015 and say oh UMASS get the spot? Great way to piss off your last northeast school(uconn). So how soon do uconn, Cincy and USF leave? And who replaces the teams leaving the CAA & SoCon? What's the rumor on where JMU is going, A-10 I assume?

But that article is talking about football and non football schools, say these leagues just start splitting off into such conferences then even getting to 12-14 will require poaching a more shuffling. More teams moving up into div 1 are they not? Can fight the inabilible...

But the end game is at 16? Or more?So if most conferences get there and poach others the div II influx will happen right? You can't stand pat right? unless your the Ivy League.

I must say the concept of a bunch of New England schools playing football under the "Southern Conference" banner would be dadaism of the highest order.

Of course, so would Northeastern, Drexel, and Hofstra in all sports.

Well they might go back to America east or Patriot league or heck maybe the MAAC, lets be honest I think we are gonna lose a conference or just have a BUNCH of Div II schools move up.

Good for them!!! More schools need this to happen big I know with title ix and $$$$ it's hard. (Plus I'm only a hr away)
