  1. ooof .... that's going to be tough. I don't know if my graphics program will allow me to open those images. The rivalry doesn't have an off-season.
  2. I really have to disagree on this one. When I first saw those pics, the weird blue band just below the knees was the first thing that made me say "what the hell is that". Either make the socks blue or white, but not aqua with a thick blue stripe at the top.
  3. I will take them, but I can't guarantee that I'll give them back. I don't have a lot of free time to spend on this hobby, unfortunately. I'll do my best, though.
  4. Some years I have ... it usually depends on how many 'W's I can put up there instead of 'L's. I don't want to depress myself every time I look at my computer.
  5. Every year, I make a wallpaper with the Vikings 2013 schedule, just so I have a quick reference on my desktop all season long. I figure other people here must do the same thing (or at least, I hope they do, or this thread will die a quick and lonely death). So, this thread is meant to be an open thread for anyone to post their favorite 2013 team schedule wallpaper. To kick it off, here's the one I made for the Vikings this year:
  6. Even though multiple posters (including myself) have pointed out the evidence that it IS there? They got leaked and you and mutiple posters look to be wrong. Are you serious or are you completely joking? Orange is most certainly a part of the design, albeit as an accent color. Its right there in the pic. You see orange on the helmet stripe? I don't. I also don't see the orange sunburst around the dolphin in the logo, but I know it's there. It's just bad lighting to see the orange next to the white. (I'm talking about the straight on picture)
  7. Is anyone else bothered by the pant 'stripes' that are really just a block of color over the thigh? They don't start at the top of the pants. They don't go past the knees. They just sit there looking out of place.
  8. Here is the video of Adrian Peterson talking about the jersey (I didn't see the full video posted yet): I got the link from the Daily Norseman (
  9. WTF? Of course everyone wants you to post them. Please do. In the meantime, I believe this is one of the new teasers: http://www.vikings.c...ose-article.jpg But Mauer can correct me if I'm wrong. Dont know if thats part of the new clues, but looking at the URL, thats from for sure and by the last part of the URL, thats the close up of the jersey. Simple! I love seeing the gold wordmark on purple, no other outlines needed. ***NEVERMIND, JUST CHECKED VIKINGS.COM AND ITS THE HEADER FOR AN ARTICLE ON THE SITE, NOT ONE OF THE CLUES, SORRY 'BOUT THAT*** It's not one of the insider clues, but it is from the new jersey. "Below is a close-up shot of the new purple home jersey. Specifically, the area featured below is the spot below the collar but above the numbers on the front of the jersey."
  10. This is supposedly a quote from Chad Greenway about the new uniforms. It was passed along on Facebook, and I haven't been able to find an 'official' source for the quote, so make of it what you will. "I was excited when I saw it for the first time. I was really pumped. It's a simple uniform for us which to me makes it look better. You let the purple stand out which is what the Vikings stand for. The new pant and uniform design are going to be a hit."
  11. Sometimes, they make it too easy... I can't believe they have the balls to call this an 'officially-licensed jersey'.
  12. Here's the full version of that ad, with the jerseys they will be wearing. hmm.....stupid broken-up advertisements. well, you get the idea.
  13. Not this year, but I did last year. I tried carving the Viking's 'Norseman' logo. It wasn't very good, but it got the point across.
  14. I have to say, the upside-down nut on the black background in the first post reminded me of one of those 'idea' lightbulbs, which could play into the 'creative' part of your name.
  15. Thank you. I've been looking for this forever as well. I finally gave up and decided that if I couldn't find a copy, I'd make a copy. (This message brought to you by the 'easier said than done' department.)
