For this set, I'm gonna assume the A's do indeed move to Las Vegas after their current stadium lease is up. However, regardless of if they leave Oakland or not - I really hope they don't mess around with their uniforms. Oakland has some of the best sets in the game (and that's not just my opinion). They absolutely shouldn't move away from the green and gold color scheme, or the classic "A" hat. Really, I'd just like to see them replace "Oakland" with "Las Vegas" where needed and call it a day. 

With that said, my set stays pretty true to this idea. Home, Road, Gold + Green Alternate uniforms stay mostly as is. I added some yellow trim to the sleeve logo, as well as a subdued 8-point Las Vegas star on the pants. Gold jerseys get white numbers. Kelly green alternate/faux-back uniforms are tweaked to include a reverse-colorized sleeve logo, and gold socks. Finally, the throwback uniform is an old-school home uniform from the powerhouse 1970's era. This set also includes a gold batting helmet, which although I don't think is entirely accurate historically, does look entirely appropriate.

 

Henderson's name on a Vegas shirt is absolutely sacrilegious... 
Yet, I would like to see some sort of "LV" cap...
And of course, we would need some sort of Vegas Gold somewhere in the uniform.

The one detail I question on this one is the "horn" on the hat. 
I think it's supposed to be the "roll/fold" of the rim of the hat.

I'm not sure what type of source material you use, but I went online and googled a few of the big names of the 80s, and asked for large files (George Brett, Ozzie Smith, Nolan Ryan)

I also looked at manufacturers'  websites, but those weren't really good (Rawlings, Majestic) 

I have recently gotten into making some Baseball Jerseys and have really been enjoying the PSD Majestic template from John Benson.
Does anyone know about a similar "foolproof" layered template for "over the head" jerseys (like the 80s, BP and Players' Weekend's)?

I hated the Rangers' "Lady Liberty" sweaters and really don't understand the folks who want to see them replace one of the most classic sweaters in the history of hockey. Most New Yorkers have only visited the statue once, on a middle-school field trip... how is that a good symbol for a team representing New York City?

Not to mention it technically sits in NJ's waters.

You didnt contradict anything I said above. It still sits in NJ's waters even though NY has jurisdiction over the Island.

Jurisdiction trumps territory. The US embassy in London's in the UK's territory but it's still American land.

Is there a reason for that? I don't understand. PArticularly on a website for people obsessed with logos, uniforms, and sports in general.

Not to mention some "grown men" who wear jerseys earn more in one year than you will probably see in your life time.

It's just my opinion. I just think jerseys are a little goofy for men to be wearing around, particularly football jerseys. And that goes for going to game or going to the store. IMO, there is no proper situation for the man jersey. And just because you make some money doesn't mean you can't look like a jackass.

But they are ok on women, right?

Alright, someone I know had this logo created for him, and know I'm going to put it on a uniform.

I'd like to isolate and "straighten" the wordmark out of it, but we haven't heard from the creator for a few months...

Working on a Fantasy Team logo for a friend and I have no clue why, he set the team in Mississippi.

I am trying to get some sort of water/waves efect in the logo with the word Mississippi, and am looking for a font that can create that effect (similar to what I drew here)

Any suggestions? (as most people who don't make a living at this, a free font would be wecome...)
