The Arena Football League has announced that Bud Adams' long-rumored franchise will begin competition in the 2005 AFL season. The franchise will revive the Nashville Kats identity package. The team will play at the GEC and former Kats' coach Pat Sperduto will again call the shots. The organization has signed a one-year lease, with a pair of three-year options.
