You are correct sir.

Before Chelios, Paul Coffey won it in back to back years with Edmonton.

1985 & 1986.

Doug Harvey of Montreal was the first to win the Norris playing for a Canadian team in 1955. He went on to win four consecutive and then 3 more after that for at total of 7 Norris trophies. However, nobody will ever match Bobby Orr's 8 consecutive from 1968 to 1975.
