OMMF Posted June 30, 2005 Share Posted June 30, 2005 Sportsnet has a source that has listed these players as invitees to the Olympic training camp:Although it remains to be seen if NHL players will compete at Turin, sources revealed to Rogers Sportsnet that Mario Lemieux, Joe Sakic and Steve Yzerman top the list.Other forwards on Sportsnet's list are Shane Doan, Kris Draper, Simon Gagne, Dany Heatley, Jarome Iginla, Vincent Lecavalier, Kirk Maltby, Patrick Marleau, Brendan Morrison, Rick Nash, Michael Peca, Keith Primeau, Brad Richards, Ryan Smyth, Martin St. Louis, Alex Tanguay and Joe Thornton.The 12 defenceman supposedly invited will be Rob Blake, Jay Bouwmeester, Dan Boyle, Eric Brewer, Adam Foote, Scott Hannan, Ed Jovanavski, Scott Niedermayer, Chris Phillips, Chris Pronger, Wade Redden and Robyn Regehr.Tending goal reportedly will be Martin Brodeur, Roberto Luongo, Jose Theodore and Marty Turco.
