Kess Posted November 8, 2005 Share Posted November 8, 2005 I couldn't be more proud of Ryan Howard. He's always represented Missouri State University baseball with class. It's been a great couple of years for former Bears. Bill Mueller became the first player in major league history to hit a grand slam from both sides of the plate in a game, won an AL batting crown and a World Series ring. Now Howard is NL Rookie of the Year. And infrared41...don't think I've forgotten your "The Missouri State University doesn't pack the same wallop as The Ohio State University" mess. I'm sure you haven't forgotten what happened the last time the Bears and Buckeyes were on the same field. Let me remind you: 13-8, 13-7, Bears go on to the College World Series, OSU stays home.
