brinkeguthrie Posted June 26, 2006 Share Posted June 26, 2006 Someone made the point earler that the Cubs don't need to improve the product as the city will go to the games regardless, win or lose.That's exactly the point this article makes.The Cubs' lemming-like faithful continue to flock to the ballyard in robust numbers, regardless of the product on the field. As a result, the stewards at the Tribune Company generally take an "oh, whatever" approach to improving the team.
