(add Bullets and Wizards)I can think of only one other franchise that has had two different nicknames while staying in the same city, and that would be the Denver Nuggets (Rockets). Technically, I guess you could include the Ft. Wayne Zollner Pistons -- Ft. Wayne Pistons. If you throw franchise shifts into the mix, I still can't think of any franchise with more than two nicknames. This includes the Rochester/Cincinnati Royals -- Kansas City (-Omaha)/Sacramento Kings, Syracuse Nationals -- Philadelphia 76ers, Buffalo Braves -- San Diego/Los Angeles Clippers, Dallas Chaparrals -- San Antonio Spurs and the Tri-Cities Blackhawks -- Milwaukee/St. Louis/Atlanta Hawks.
