It is a fact that the Predators give away on average about 2,500 tickets per game. Yes - 2500 tickets.

Prove it.

You're right.. I was off by a bit.... just over 2200, not 2500. My point is still the same.

Average paid attendance at preds games: 12,766 source: Empty preds seats...

Average tickets distributed: 14,999 source: ESPN NHL attendance

That works out to 2233 tickets given away per game. Yes, other teams give away tickets, but not to that extent.

Wow, worse than I thought... it's hard to justify getting low attendance while having a first place team in a new arena (unless the arena is in a terrible location?)
