cli1013
Hi all!I don't usually post here, but I do lurk quite a bit.Anyway, I finally found the nameplate font used by the Sharks, Wild, and Team Canada. It's called "Compacta," and unfortunately, I still have not found the number font used for any of the teams (the Sharks may have modified some of the Compacta numbers, but I'm still looking). As far as I know, Compacta is a commercial font, but luckily it was on a set of font CDs I ordered off of eBay. If anyone is interested in getting this font, e-mail me at cli@ucsd.edu, and I'll send it to you.Crystal
Puckguy14
Sharks and Team Canada use Compacta at 120% wide. The numerals are done in an edited form of font called Robotik. One guy on here, made the unis for the then Sharks 3rds. I have a character set. (Image of the numerals used.)The Minnesota Wild use the font as is. 2004 San Jose Sharks 7th Man Fan of the Year San Jose Gold Miners - 4x Lombardi Cup Champions
cli1013
Thanks for the extra info, Puckguy! I thought Minnesota's nameplates looked a little thinner and taller than the Sharks'.And thanks for the number information! I'll have to see if Robotik is included on my font CD...Crystal
