Waffles
I was at that Hurricanes game in the cheap seats. I was pretty impressed with the arena, especially with how good the crappy seats actually were, and by the Taste of Newark food court. And the combination of lots of children with their parents and lots of drinking and cursing and fights breaking out reminded me of a family Thanksgiving. Listening to the eight-year-old kids next to me scream "Scott Gomez [consumes male ejaculate]" for three periods was also very heartwarming. And discovering after the game that there's a Payless Shoe Store a block from the arena from which you can see two other Payless Shoe Stores on the same street was probably the highlight of my weekend.I have one complaint about the Prudential Center. The playlist was gawdawful. New Jersey does its Carl from Aqua Teen reputation no favors by continuing to party like it's 1989 in the music department. Just say no to glam rock.
