ArcAngel
The CBJ were NOT first professional sports franchise for the city. That distinction goes to the Columbus Panhandles/Tigers, one of the charter members of the NFL. They played from 1920-1926, compiling a record of 13-44-1, or something pretty close. In fact, Columbus resident Joseph Carr was the NFL's first president. So whoever is in charge of maintaining the info on Sports Cyclopedia could you please change that info for the CBJ?If anyone doubts this info, pick up any copy of the NFL Record and Fact book - it's documented.
