STS-119 Mission Patch Released

The mission patch for STS-119 (the 126th shuttle mission) was released today. The mission will deliver and assemble the fourth starboard Integrated Truss Segment (S6) and the fourth set of solar arrays and batteries to the International Space Station and is scheduled for launch no earlier than February 12, 2009.

Given the number of crewmembers whose names start with A on this flight, I think the patch echoing an A shape is an interesting idea. I'm also going to assume that the pinkish hue is just a bad color conversion to jpeg and that it's actually redder.
