This was the 1989 Fleer set, which means it was pictures of the 1988 season. The season where the Orioles started 0-21, with Bill Ripken on the cover of SI during the streak. They lost 108 games that year, he was frustrated his father was fired, Cal was sulking and rumored to be traded to the Mets. So he wrote F*** Face on his bat as frustration of the season and posed with it. I don't know if he expected it to go on a card but he posed it perfectly to ruin the picture.

So let me get this straight, you weren't there, you don't know him and we're suppose to believe you and not the person telling the story? Uh huh, yeah right. Were you there? I don't think so, so your story has no validity to it. Sorry, try again.
