NJTank
I began my career with the Buffalo Braves in 1972/73, winning that year's Rookie of the Year. In my final full year with the Braves I would win more hardware earning the NBA MVp in 1976. Early into the next season I was traded to teh Knicks as the Braves were forced to cut costs. After 3 years in New York I joined the Pistons in 1979. After 1 year in Detroit I joined the Nets in 1980 before joining the Lakers in 1981. After 4 years in LA I would join the 76ers where I finished my career in 1986.Who Am I? www.sportsecyclopedia.com For the best in sports history go to the Sports E-Cyclopedia at http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com
Brian in Boston
Bob McAdoo. Actually, he earned the NBA Most Valuable Player Award for the 1974-75 season. Unless I'm mistaken, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar won the MVP hardware in both the 1975-76 and 1976-77 seasons.

Brian in Boston
The Knicks traded McAdoo to the Celtics midway through the 1978-79 season. He primarily "rode the pine" behind starter Dave Cowens, and was traded to the Detroit Pistons prior to the 1979-80 campaign.
