A F L Commissioner talks expansion...

Can we get our Mustangs back and take back our place at the top of the attendance list again?

Seriously... if Valozzi doesn't want to bring them back, he needs to stop being a (female dog) and give up his rights. What he wants is way too much for an AFL team.

AFL is growing big time. With af2 helping exposing in smaller markets while AFL is on TV every weekend (do you hear that NHL Commish Gary Bettman EVERY WEEKEND!) during its season (outside the two weeks NBC has golf tourneys) plus carefully adding teams in markets, as opposed to the "have arena? have arena football!" plan.

I really hope this gets moving because AFL is fun, affordable, and is great to watch at home, yet even better in person!!!

Firstly, thanks for the corrections. I know alot about ArenaBall, but sometimes the memories are a little fuzzy. On to the Milwaukee issue, The Valozzi family no longer own the rights to the market. It's open season. MilTown, don't be suprised to see ArenaBall back in the 414 in a few years. The commish and many of the older teams remember how great the crowds were at the BC. Hell, I remember when I worked for the in 2000.

I think that Milwaukee and the AFL are a perfect fit. I would like to conclude with this: I'm happy that SJ won the cup today. I'm also proud of the fact the the VooDoo did so well this season.

I wokred for the first AFL team here in 1992, the Night. We were horrid. Our second, and last season, we went 0-10 and drank a lot of beer that summer.

Ok, dat's it. I'm out!

:woot:

Last I heard about the AFL returning to the MIL was last year when the AFL said it was looking for an owner who'd be interested in running a team here. But Valozzi owning the market was the biggest monkey-wrench in that plan.

Hmmm... I think I need to start playing the Powerball.
