New Jersey's unused jersey concept

Execution note: Your two is upside down on the sleeves and the numbers are not on the right way. The sleeves would read 21 the way you have it (with the upside down 2) but the number is actually 12.

Of course I would make a mistake my bad

I never was a big fan of the N and the J of their current logo being fully joined, but seeing this version on a jersey shows that the original was no better. The white N just dominates, with the rest of it just a murky contrast. Execution aside, this gives a pretty good idea of what they would have looked like when they first converted from being the Colorado Rockies to the New Jersey Devils. The top red hem stripe doesn't seem worthwhile, the way it is interrupted by the white back and front panels.

Use the rules of heraldry for more effective sports logos! i.e. keep it simple, use good contrast...
