  1. Double whammy.

    Bure.jpg

Even more odd knowing Bure was the last Ranger to wear #9, despite the Rangers retiring in honor of two different players just a few years later. Seriously why did the Rangers just not take it out of circulation? You can take it out of circulation w/o retiring it. The Canucks did that for #19 when Naslund left. Hodgson tried to wear it, and was denied.

Is wearing too much make up popular in the OC? lol

  2. I think that these are the best jerseys in Blue Jays history:

I'd agree, if it wasn't for the 2012 set.

Personally, I hate new jerseys that are just copies of old jerseys. It smacks of laziness... though I might feel differently if the Marlins went back to their 1993 look.

Jays up till they switched to the "Black" Jays jerseys did a pretty good job of evolving. Laziness?! I know someone who worked on that project, it took them 18 months of work. Any graphic designer on here can tell you that new set is very different. The new Blue Jays set are not throwbacks, everything was re-done. The fan base wanted that look back.

  3. Seeing all those Spurs banners bugs me. Championship teams were built around Duncan, who should have been drafted by the Grizzlies or Raptors. But those two teams were the only two expansion teams in NBA history to no be able to get a top 5 pick, for their first 5 years of existence. The Bobcats were awarded the first overall pick their 1st year. Another issue for another time...

  4. I'll always remember Mogilny's valiant play in the 1994 Finals:

So many possible jokes, I don't know where to start...

BTW Please tell me I am not the only one who calls out people when they are wearing these fakes. By buying a fake, you are not actually supporting the team, all the funds go to a low paying Chinese factory.

Yeah but.... cheaper..... and its my "right" to own any product I choose regardless of legality... and greedy companies... and cheaper!

Lol if people of "low" means can't afford to buy a jersey, than at least get a good knock off. Holy heck, so many bad knock offs. I don't mean call out kids who have fake jerseys, most of them got those as gifts.

  5. Brett Hull

Zach Parise (Legend in the making?)

    USA-Parise12.jpg

If you dont understand, Ill explain.

You don't have to explain anything. They're in the right jerseys.

Parise was born and raised in Minnesota, so even though his Dad is Canadian and Zach could have played for the Canadians, Zach is American through and through.

Yeah, Hull was born in Canada, and spent a lot of time there, but he also lived in Chicago with his Dad, where all his other siblings were born. So, while he had dual citizenship, more than that, in '86 Team USA was the one who showed interest in him playing for them, not Canada. Hull decided to stick with that loyalty throughout his career.

I admire both of their decisions.

To us Canadians, both of them are traitors.
