    All of these are just awful except for the Sparky helmet. It's like they used a dartboard to pair the helmets and the jerseys/pants. By far the worst unis in the Pac12 (especially all the pitchfork helmets)

    Quite a fall from having solid sets with Nike a few years ago. One of the more unique color combos in CFB and they find a way to ruin it.

    The Ducks have revealed their color schedule for this year:

    Most notable thing is the pink vs. UCLA, which essentially confirms the leaked black/pink/volt jersey that was seen several months ago:

    They also have a new nightmare green jersey and I would not at all be surprised to see it in the season opener vs. Georgia.

    Nightmare green is back?? Praise be. Wish they'd just move on from black already and use nightmare green anywhere they want to use black.

    I'm assuming you posted this as some indication of the Rams going with a black uni, But I'm trying to figure out why the cap has LAC on it. Am I missing something?

    LAC = LA Chargers

    LAR = LA Rams

    It’s Florida, not Death Valley, the Middle East, Mercury, or Northern Africa. And they have misters on the sidelines.  I don’t think a red jersey is going to kill anyone.

    Piggybacking off of this a little I just want to point out that no one has mentioned how the opposing team has been forced to wear dark colors versus these Florida teams and no one has died.

    It's funny to hear this argument too when you consider Florida teams should be acclimated to the climate they play/practice in the most.

    The advantage of white jerseys at home, if any, is mostly psychological in my unqualified opinion.

    Where's Tampa and NE? We already know those are coming back and I'm pretty sure Dallas' old thanksgiving jerseys are still in the style guide too.

    Buddy of mine sent me the list of alternate helmets available for pre-order through Riddell. Those weren't included however I do not believe the list is complete either. I believe they are considering throwback helmets different than alternates.

    EDIT: Just added list to original post

    I'd like to believe that those are placeholder uniforms used only for the commercial rather than the real deal. For all of the effort they've put into updating the old USFL brands and promoting this league during NFL playoffs, I'll be really surprised if they end up skimping on the uniforms.

    I wouldn't get your hopes up.

    How can you have a “nation” when you are an NAIA team (and not a good one at that). Also that court will be hell for officials to call back court violations. I don’t see how this is allowed.

    Reminds me of the first year of Oregon's Deep in the Woods court. The center line was two very thin, very hard to see lines. In fact, Oregon benefited from this in the CBI championship game when an opponent committed a backcourt violation extremely late in the game on a crucial possession, all because the line was nearly invisible. They thickened it the very next year and it's been a lot more obvious since.

    Pick a feature. Any one will do. The stupid collar,  The colors, The numbers, the fact it looks more like a nod to The Oregon Trail...Also, the whole stupid idea of this uniform so they can money grab. Money grabbing is what Nike and Oregon do best.

    These jerseys are not available for retail purchase.

    I would choose the nightmare green over black any day of the week, and I think most other Ducks fans would likely agree. They certainly don’t need both, which it seems like they might this year if they really do have a new black alternate in the works. Going forward they should definitely choose one and stick with it, but my vote would be for the nightmare green. I’d be fine with black, though, again just as long as they pick one. The apple green is and should continue to be the primary shade of green, and should be worn more frequently than it has been the last couple seasons.

    Lifelong Duck fan and alumni here to co-sign this sentiment. I always struggled to accept using black especially when our little brother uses black as their primary color. Especially when we have such a unique color scheme. I really like the direction the brand seems to be heading and definitely prefer the nightmare green to black. Like you said it's a nice in-between color and in my opinion much better than the spruce/forest green the Ducks were using.

    This! As a lifelong Duck fan I think this is such a great alternative. It already has history, it's somewhat tongue-in-cheek (works for our region), and it's something the rivalry hasn't had since it went "missing" (there is no rivalry trophy otherwise).

    Not going to lie, this is one of the boldest rebrands I've ever seen for a college -- super comprehensive, albiet kind of all over the place. But I find it beautiful. That court is amazing. They're going to stand out, for sure.

    Agree with this. I am super impressed with the amount of detail they went into building a BRAND. Not just refreshing logos, they created patterns, lines of movement, etc. that translate across all mediums (jerseys, courts, helmets, the likes). Yes, the standalone "D" logo needs to be looked at, possibly changed a little, but if it isn't then that's fine too, I still believe they have a strong brand and people will get over the "doesn't look like a D on first glance" aspect. There's now no mistaking its Duquesne.

  14. If they found that they could sell more at a lower price and exceed the amount they're making right now at the high price, obviously they would do so. If basic economic principles apply here they are charging the best price to net them the highest profit. Meaning, we won't see them drop because of the increase in counterfeit purchases, unless of course there was a severe decline in people purchasing the legit jerseys

  15. _It still boggles my mind that people join a message board dedicated to designers and designing, yet some are trying to rationalize IP Theft. It's pretty much like joining a message board about making music and then supporting illegally downloading MP3s.

    _

    _Not everyone understands the implications of being a designer and having your work stolen, I would say the majority of people here aren't designers and probably haven't even opened up a design program. I think it's hard for some people to put themselves in other people's shoes, especially when it's a touchy subject like THEIR money vs. someone else's money
