  1. Oh and another thing:

Even when you buy an authentic from an official seller- you're still not getting a legit on-field jersey. They don't have the draw-string sleeves or anything like that. So you're kind of getting duped anyway in to thinking you're getting the real deal when you aren't.

Exactly. I have a hard time believing that an "authentic" is really worth the $300 price tag if it isn't even on the field. You can't tell me that a real player's jersey costs more. If so it would cost an astounding amount to dress a football team.

Not $300, but gamers definitely cost more than authentics to produce. One big reason is that there's more overall material used, ever seen the length of football jerseys? I have a 42 (M) that runs almost to my knees. The differences in striping or how the numeral/nameplate is affixed is also of a higher quality in gamers. This doesn't even get into the new designs of Pro Combat or TechFit where the on-field jerseys have 'advanced' material. I know most of that is marketing BS, but not all.

But if I ever dropped $300 on a jersey I'd want the on field product. I don't see the reason to pay more than $100 for an "authentic". If replicas are $75 and use the same materials/cut then they are seriously jacking up the price of the tackle twill items, which is ridiculous.

  3. If you look at some of the additional pictures by scrolling down it just gets worse. The chest pads don't even line up. It says it was made in the US (Nike stuff is notoriously made overseas). And it says it's "Nike Fit Dry"...LOL

  4. I like white helmets with white facemasks. Think "The U", Texas, and VT.

Yeah, I wasn't sure about Arizona's white helmets since traditionally their white helmets have had navy facemasks, but after seeing the white helmets on the field this past season, I like them.

You like something from Arizona? Shocker :P

  5. I hate gray facemasks

Eh...depends on the color of the helmet.

Nah... it depends on the team's color scheme. If gray or silver is featured prominently, then gray facemasks look fine. Otherwise, they stick out like a sore thumb and are a clear example of retro for retro's sake.

Took the words out of my mouth.

IMO, if gray isn't in the scheme, don't make it your facemask color. Arizona Cardinals are the definition of GFFGFS

  6. Might be how I folded it, not sure..either way I am actually pretty satisfied with it for the price. I know I'll lose points among some CCSLCers for buying it but I can't afford a 300 dollar jersey, I can't even afford a replica, I'm a poor college student. In a perfect world we'd all get the best we could, but hey, no one I know will even notice its fake, so yeah.

  7. -I love Oregon's uniforms (although the silver was a little much)

-I think the Titans have one of the coolest logos in the NFL

-I like the Packers circle number throwbacks

-I like the Chargers powder blue uniforms

    -I hate traditional looking uniforms

-I think the NFL should have a uniform rule like college (a who gives a crap what you wear policy)
