  1. Overall thoughts: LOVE the new burgundy helmet. It's sharp af. Ironically my least favorite part of the set is the black helmet. Its trash. Numbers on the side and...a w on the actual front...wut? Home jerseys are fine. Not bad at all. Hope they pair it with white pants more often than not. White uniform literally could be a great updated away uniform for the Cardinals. It just doesnt go with the home uniform (yes...I know NYG is like that)...idk. dont really like that. It's a cool uniform in a vacuum. Black uniform is fine(edit...until I saw the nameplate lines). Dont like the helmet. Roundel logo is way too busy. I do appreciate them honoring their championship years on it. I like when teams do that.

I can't believe a lot of you are saying it's the worst uniform in the league...this is A LOT better than Tennessee and it's not even close.

    • Huh? 1
  2. I'm betting the black jersey is real. The "2021" doesnt mean anything. I've seen game worn jerseys have a different year on the Nike jock tag than when it was worn. It's way too nice of quality to be a fake jersey.

Also..notice something is covered up in the top right patch-area....ugh... (consistent with the other banner leaks).

The cap itself looks like one of those generic brand caps from a website where you upload an image and get it embroidered on to something, and not Fanatics, 47, or New Era

Exactly...so as of now...this could be from some random person who uploaded the most recent "concepts"/"guesses"

Y'all gonna have to let the "32s" thing go.

My objection to it is that you'll never get that clear image where you go "that's the logo!" Not unless the picture or video was captured with an insanely powerful camera. The types of cameras used for publicity shots or used to film footage for a teaser video aren't going to be powerful enough that you can pull an unintended reflection from the footage and get anything worthwhile. At most you get a vague idea of what it could be, which lines up with the other stuff the teaser video teases.
It all comes down to trying to read tea leaves.

I'm the one that needs to let 32s go??

    CCSLC tropes I'm annoyed by-

"Let's try to figure out the logo/striping from a blurry reflection in nearby glass!"

"Team's social media account changed the graphics to X! I bet X is part of the new identity!"

"This leak is fake. Clearly the team made up fake merchandise and documents to mislead some nerds on the internet."

I mean I get it. People are curious. They don't want to wait until 2 February and in absence of an official unveiling speculation gets crazy. But these three tropes keep happening and they never pan out 😛

Discussing the helmet reflection in the window is much more relevant and productive than joking about the "32s" for 10 pages of this thread.

Definitely a bold “W” and looks similar to the WFT one. Looks like there’s something in the center of the W, but can’t make out what it is. The Capitol building, maybe? Could be the bow of a battleship? The latter would fit right in with “Armada”.

Watched this video clip again... It's definitely a W in the reflection.

From what I'm seeing, this has all the makings of "piecemeal for piecemeal's sake". That said, until we know for sure how involved the Nike creative team was in this, I'll hold judgment on this.

If that 17 is indicative of the rest of the number font, then they already deserve props for not going the unnecessary serifs/opposing corners/hackneyed chopjob route, a la Tennessee. (And speaking of Tennessee, yeah, um, about those three stars on the inside collar there, Washington...yyyeeeeaahh, about that 🤔) I too see some kind of patterned gradient fade on both the white jerseys and the numbers on those jerseys, which leaves me really curious. (I hope they're not trying to pull a SF Giants City Connect jibe with those road jerseys.) And, again, with the road jersey numbers being outlined in black...why? (But then why add black period to an already good colorway? Sales, I guess.) I want to see the pants and socks, which I guess we all will when WTF breaks the internet--and these forums--on 2/2/22. (You think they planned that day on purpose??)

I've seen some of those concept logos before--I know the.guy who made one of them, the one that looked like a W in a shield shape. The Redtsils concept logo in the shield shape was an interesting take; it looked more like a soccer crest than a football logo, but I don't necessarily see that as a bad thing. But, those helmets...no way around a facepalm on that one. And "one of...the main helmets?" How many helmets they got...three? Sixteen? Guess we'll see.

And as for the potentially leaked name...I that's it, it doesn't surprise me in the slightest. That's about the only military-themed nickname that could work with the three stars and actually be half-accurate...the three-star rank is Vice Admiral, and being that the Navy Yard is right there in DC, I'm sure that'd have been their inspiration.  If that's indeed it, I wouldn't mind it; in fact, I already kinda like the idea of it.

    Well...there ya go.

Ironically, I was just getting ready to comment here and make fun of everyone for saying the three stars meant anything but the DC Flag.

Looks like we have at least one receiver slated to wear a single digit.  The Packers new A. Rodgers will wear the old A. Rodgers' college number.

It's a photoshopped graphic just to show which number he picked. Take it easy, guys.

Good morning. So that thing I said a few weeks ago? Yeah the team Bezos is buying will become public knowledge in the next ten days. No I won’t tell you how I know this so don’t even bother asking. But when it starts circulating I look forward to speculating with you all what the new uniforms will look like.

It was already rumored that he was buying Washington.

Having no dye in the jersey fabric saves 1g on the weight of the jersey, which gives the players dressed in white a small performance boost.

    Thanks, San Jose Sharks.

Anybody know what this font is? Kansas is using it extensively this year and even has it on the side of football equipment truck and signage in stadium. Making me wonder if they are rebranding soon. The university is moving away from Trajan font with the exception of signage and letterheads.

Very possible it's simply a font being used for social media and print collateral designs. Not an official font to be used on uniforms, official documents, etc.
